Taunton-based cleaning company, Cleanfootprints, are the August 2015 winners. The business is owned and run by Glyn Woodcock, who has 30 years of experience in the carpet and upholstery cleaning industry. Cleanfootprints has seven branches across the south-west and cover much of the region.

For Glyn, the decision to join tradesmen and women recommendation service Which? Trusted Traders was easy. He told us: 'It’s in the name: Which? Trusted Traders. Customers know Which? and feel they can trust the tradesmen that appear on the website and in the Little Red Book.'.

A confidence boost

'People spend a lot of money on carpets and three-piece suites,' says Glyn. 'Cowboy carpet and upholstery cleaners can cause permanent damage by using cheap chemicals and inferior equipment. Our Which? Trusted Traders endorsement shows that we’re reputable and friendly.'

It’s not just customers whose confidence is boosted by the scheme.

'As staff, we feel self-assured and tell as many people as we can that we’re part of Which? Trusted Traders,' says Glyn. 'We’re proud to have the Which? logo on our uniforms.'

Glyn has gone one step further and incorporated the Which? Trusted Traders logo into his digital marketing.

'The Which? logo is on my own website, as well as in my promotional videos,' explains Glyn.

'Having the Which? Trusted Traders icon in my videos and on my homepage helps me to convert prospective customers who are browsing into customers who make inquiries and bookings,' he added.
