We would like to introduce you to Dee Cee Upholstery and Interior’s World of Comfort.
Established in 1978, we are one of the South’s leading experts in Upholstery and Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs.
Partner in Dee Cee Upholstery, Derek Caplen, became the youngest master Upholsterer in the UK at the tender age of 21, and by the age of 43 he had become the youngest Fellow of the Association of Master Upholsterers for his outstanding contribution in training young people, and dedication to the A.M.U. and Soft Furnishers.
As suppliers of award winning, quality Rise and Recline Mobility Chairs, we are acknowledged experts, recommended by occupational therapists, physiotherapists and healthcare professionals, and are approved specialist suppliers to local councils and the NHS.
We have also won local and national awards for exceptional customer service.

I had an ottoman reupholstered and couldn't be more pleased with the result. Derek was happy to pick it up from my home and also brought plenty of fabric samples for me to choose from. The work was done quickly and to a very high standard and delivered back to my home. The service that I received was very professional and polite and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

DeeCee recovered an office swivel chair in fabric I supplied in only a few days. They did a brilliant job and it wasn’t easy. Now the chair looks marvellous instead of shabby, and more comfortable as the stuffing in the seat was renewed. Having used DeeCee twice before, I would not go elsewhere. Recommended to me by a local relation years ago. Excellent, professional and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Our customer from Bassett Wood Drive in Southampton, brought into our showroom an office swivel chair which was of very good quality and definitely worth being re-upholstered , not just recovered . It is always a pleasure to welcome back existing customers, ( having used our re- upholstery service twice before ) We also treated the fabric with anti stain protection free of charge .

Having used DeeCee in the past we were confident that the work (the re-upholstery of two Parker Knoll fireside chairs) would be completed to a high standard and we are delighted with the results. The chairs were collected and returned on time, the work was completed in a timely fashion and both Karen and Derek were helpful as we discussed our requirements. We were loaned a good range of fabric sample books which enabled us to choose the fabric in our own home. We would highly recommend DeeCee Upholstery.

The two Parker Knoll chairs are very good quality ,and the fact that they would be expensive to replace . When re-upholstered they would be as good as new ,thus saving our customers money. Our existing customers visited our showroom in Portswood to choose fabric from our pattern book library , they were able to to take a selection of pattern books home with them to make a final choice ( which is so important ) It is good that they would highly recommend us.

It is a heart warming to be recommended by our previous customers and that our charge for re- upholstering their six dining chairs to their former glory was competitive and that we we provided great customer service .
Repair work to my Double seated leather Sofa Part one....

Excepted quotation for the arm rest to be stripped down and upgraded to a better quality foam. The Sofa seat; which was not straight forward stripped down with new materials, and upgraded foam for a firmer seat. This probably was one of those annoying small jobs ,but Dee Cee were more than up for the challenge, and happy to do the job. I was given the quotation which was more than expected, but in life you get what you pay for, and looking into the back ground of Dee Cee, felt it was money well spent. We collected my part Sofa today after being informed the work was complete and ready for collection. Absolutely spot on workmanship, and service, with, "Honesty", as the repair didn't take as long as first thought. The excepted quotation was then discounted accordingly... WOW....what a company...........You have saved me buying a new Sofa.... The other side to be done in the New year... Thank you. A very grateful Steve Matthews

The arm rest and seat needed to be stripped down to the frame and re-upholstered and refit the existing leather which was in good condition . This job was very labour intensive as the seat foam was made up in different density's and layers of fire retardant foam which meets the 1988 fire regulations .

Re-upholster Parker Knoll chair

We had a Parker Knoll fireside chair which was left to us by an elderly neighbour which had previously been re-upholstered. It was looking tired so we visited Dee Cee to view samples. Derek had previously re-upholstered a foot stool so we chose a co-ordinating fabric. We also had the legs stripped and re- polished, seat cushion and springing replaced. The chair has just returned and the workmanship is first class and the chair is as good as new, pattern matching is perfect. A top quality job.

Our customer from Southampton chose a check fabric which needed to be pattern matched. The queen Anne legs where stripped and repolished to a much lighter finish at the request of our customers ,to blend in with their existing furniture in their lounge

Dee Cee carried out work re-padding my leather sofa back cushions. He quoted me mid-summer and held his price when I eventually dropped them off to him in October. I could'nt be more pleased with the workmanship and friendly service that I received, and would both recommend, and use them again.

The back cushions just needed some extra fire retardant polyester fiberfill fitted into the existing interior cases instead of replacement interiors Whilst it was only a small job ,if it's important to our customers it's important to us . As a business it's great to get positive feed back posted on The Which Trusted Traders review website. At present we have 349 excellent reviews
