Dollar is one of the less commonly used providers in our survey and performed poorly. Its value-for-money rating at just two stars out of five really dragged it down the rankings. Customers clearly felt that the price they’d paid didn’t match up to the service they’d received.
Some drivers praised its customer service, though. ‘I have used Dollar many times in different locations in the US, and have invariably been very satisfied with the service,’ wrote one customer.
With mixed responses, and a poor value-for-money rating, Dollar offers a disappointing car hire experience.
