I recently hired Tony and his sons to build new steps to my front door and renew and enlarge my driveway, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results! The new steps and driveway have completely transformed the look of my home and added so much to its kerb appeal. From start to finish, Tony and his team were fantastic to work with. They listened carefully to my needs and preferences and made sure to build everything exactly as I wanted it. They were always available to answer questions, and their professionalism and friendly demeanor made the whole process stress-free. I was particularly impressed with the quality of their workmanship. The new steps and driveway are sturdy, well-made, and built to last. And throughout the entire process, they were always careful to clean up each day and leave the worksite neat and tidy. Even my postman has commented on how much he loves the new steps! I would highly recommend Tony and his sons to anyone looking for a reliable, skilled builder. We asked Brockwitz and Sons to render and pebble-dash our house and to extend and renovate our patio. We are delighted with the results. The work was completed by the same team of 3, including the very experienced Tony Brockwitz who was very hands-on. They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish: punctual, considerate, courteous, tidy, efficient and hardworking. Nothing was too much trouble. You won’t find anyone better!

Why do people sell houses? Well, ours had some dankness in the front wall... we thought it was cracks in the render and have spent some money down the years on magical coatings that were a spray goop, and later, special thick masonry paint. But nothing seemed to really cure it. I finally came to the conclusion that we might need to re-render.. and got a recommendation for AJB & Sons from a trusted chap. Tony came and looked and within a few minutes had explained what my problem was. Previous owners who did a slew of shoddy things had applied some stuff to the house without taking off the old pebbledash... so ALL rain water was going down behind my old render. He also saw they had used galvanised nosings, not stainless steel so there was rust on our corner of the wall! He knew... The job was awesome... it is noisy having the old stuff removed but they were careful not to harm the fabric of my house! Far from it, there was sophisticated stuff going on with silicone based fillers for cracks. Once cleaned off, the wall got a layer of fine stuff, then painted and primed before the amazing polymer-feeling render was splooged on. Brilliant expertise in all the parts, with different lads to do the mad Kango day versus the fine rendering work. And they were awesome at adding a little bit of more-than-the-job. They fixed the underside of my newly re-roofed door porch and filled and siliconed a little crack I had to the left of the main job. And left clean and tidy after an epic mess!!

We employed Tony and his team to convert our integrated garage into a home office. We are absolutely delighted with the final result. Of the quotes that we obtained, Tony's was towards the higher end - but you get what you pay for. We were immediately impressed by Tony's knowledge and honesty. Tony also helped us find an architect to draw up the plans and submit the application plus an electrician and plumber to do those parts of the job. This made the whole process much simpler for us, with Tony effectively project managing. All the other bits of work were done by Scott and George. Throughout the process they were very polite, tidy and hard working. Most importantly the job was done to an exceptionally high standard. Any snags that were identified were quickly resolved. The invoice was broken down into each specific part of the job (e.g. installing roof, laying floor etc.), with payment due on completion of each part. This was really helpful to understand how the costs were broken down and to provide a payment plan that worked for everyone. I would highly recommend Tony and the team to anyone undertaking a project like this.

Top job done and a great team doing it. Trustworthy and good attention to detail. The team was reliable and self sufficient, completing the work to an excellent standard.

Great service from the team - came up with a great plan to solve my problem and executed it all really well (new wall, doorframe, all well plastered and finished off), plus a very friendly bunch too. Would heartily recommend.

It took me two years to find a builder who I was comfortable with. AJ Brockwitz was realistic in his quote and clearly knows what he is talking about. He brought in different teams for each specific piece of work. They were each excellent and worked very hard. They came to site regularly and also when asked. He put forward a payment schedule for when work streams were completed. There was one minor issue that cropped up during the project. They sorted it without issue. Would I recommend him and his workers again? I already have and would again. Best builder I have ever had.

Can't rate this company highly enough - we've had some real cowboys work on our place over the past few years so weren't looking forward to this, but Tony and his team have been an absolute dream from start to finish. The company was hired to render just one wall with K-rend, where we'd had a loft conversion, and half the wall was pebble-dashed and the remainder just had a thin coat of sand and cement render. The team had to insulate the top part of the wall to be able to create a seamless vertical plane. Part way through we were already so impressed we asked if they would do the other two walls as well to completely finish the job. All the guys were polite, provided clear communication and were considerate about keeping the mess to as small an area as possible. Tony himself came to site regularly, and it is clear he sets high standards and won't accept anything less than perfection. The quote was less than I expected but we didn't pay anything until the job was done and there were no increases. I just really wish I'd known about Tony's company earlier. Thank you.

We are delighted with our newly rendered, pebbledashed and timbered front of house (terraced). The builders made the whole experience much less stressful than anticipated. They were punctual, professional, well organised and well resourced. They were nice to us and nice to each other. Thank you
