We first contacted A1 to replace our extremely dated and falling apart kitchen. Alison who designed the kitchen was excellent and came up with a design and plan that we liked. Shortly after deposit we had a team of people round to double check measurements and plan things out. During the installation, Fred and team were extremely professional and always cleared up at the end of each day. The quality of workmanship on all the trades was excellent and any problems were raised and solution provided. In addition to the kitchen refit, there was also a false wall being removed, the ceiling was replaced and a few doors and radiators also replaced, so this was a fairly complex job. Rob arranged everything and co-ordinated the few subcontractors that we needed, and the recommended water softener company was scheduled in. They were not the cheapest on price but you do indeed get what you pay for. The quality of the units and the detail the fitter put into the installation was amazing and throughout the whole process we didn't have to worry about anything. Well worth it. I would certainly recommend A1 to anyone, and in a few years when we plan to get our bathroom replaced, we will be in touch again.

We got A1 to upgrade, remodel and install our bathrooms and WC and they did a fabulous job! From the initial planning and guidance, where their experience and expertise guided us so well, to the fantastic team who came to install and bring the plans to life, we were honestly blown away by how good everything has been. The team were always on time, showed great respect to us and our property and were a really great bunch. It really felt like we had extended family with us most days rather then workmen on site. They were incredibly diligent and always cleaned up after themselves every evening. Communications with A1 have always been very timely and any small issues (mostly caused by us either changing our mind or thinking we had told them we had changed our mind) were immediately and graciously accommodated. We started this process as nervous novices, but feel like we've been taken under their wing and we've ended up with 3 rooms that have made a huge difference to our spaces and the way we live.

This is the second time we have used this company and would not hesitate to use them again. The whole team are professional, attentive and hardworking. We are delighted with the end products and the attention to detail. Good value for money and a pleasure to deal with.

A1 recently carried out a full bathroom refurbishment for us. There was a wide range of products and finishes to choose from and the whole design process was very cooperative and flexible. The work was carried out within the agreed timescale and on budget. Everyone we dealt with, both in the office and the tradespeople, was very helpful and professional, and the site was kept clean and tidy. The whole process was very stress-free and we are thrilled with the finished result.

We had a very bad experience with lots of tradesmen but A1 have done a 5 star job with no hassles attached. Everything from start to finish was superb. Simon the plumber was the best: professional, tidy and pays attention to detail. We are very pleased.

I was recommended to this company, A1 Bathrooms of Basingstoke by neighbours who had used them. I needed a shower installed within a bedroom, where previously a sink and cupboard had been fitted, within an alcove. I approached A1 who within three days had surveyed the area and submitted a quotation. Within a few weeks the company commenced installation as promised. The professionals sent were first class, very thorough, tidy and hard working. From plumbing, partitioning, tiling and electrical work, all planned and carried out on time and as promised. During this time help and advice was given by the very pleasant and courteous reception lady. On completion, all tradespeople cleaned up and left the area spotlessly clean and tidy. I recommend this company and have no doubt if another area needs to be worked on, I would not hesitate to employ A1 Bathrooms again.

A1 Bathrooms and Kitchens have carried out excellent customer service, quality of workmanship throughout the kitchen project. Their thought and care with assistance in kitchen design top class. The final cost was exactly as originally quoted. The date to commence work was kept. Their staff arrived on time each day. The work was carried out by their skilled staff at high standards throughout. At end of each day careful care given to cleaning up the kitchen. Upon completion the project manager visited and checked all work was completed in accordance with quotation and we were fully satisfied.

Ryan and his colleagues did a great job transforming and refitting our bathroom. The work involving a change of layout and knocking down a wall. The work required plastering, plumbing, electrics, tiling and painting. From providing good advice on our plans to completion, A1 bathrooms organised everything very well. Trades people were professional, tidy, friendly and created the wonderful light airy bathroom we had hoped for. I would certainly recommend them and use them again

This is the third time I have employed this Company and I have always been fully satisfied. The work involved was a full bathroom refurbishment, with the installation of a walk in shower, in lieu of the bath, replacement washbasin and WC. Also removal of top of soil pipe and fitting of valve, including making good the wall, ceiling and roof. The room needed a full plastering and complete tiling , and installation of a new extractor fan and ceiling lights. All works was performed to the highest standards. The craftsman were friendly, courteous and helpful, always willing to explain what they were doing and why. There were a few minor problems - wrong size shelf delivered and broken shelves in cabinet, but these were quickly rectified. We are delighted with the end product.

We had our main bathroom, en-suite and downstairs cloakroom replaced by A1 Kitchens & Bathrooms and couldn't be happier with the work. Despite being completed during lockdown the fitters took all appropriate precautions and we felt very safe. Fitters were reliable & hard working with excellent attention to detail and nothing too much trouble. We are delighted with the end result & would definitely recommend their service.

Having decided to remove our current bath and replace it with a shower enclosure, we then had to find someone to do it. Having checked out WHICH, we saw that A1 Bathrooms & Kitchens had some great reviews, so we contacted them. From start to finish, the service and workmanship were spot on. Having listened carefully to what we wanted over the phone, a day or so later they gave us a basic price. This was acceptable and the next day their Operations Manager came in to take measurements and further discuss exactly what we wanted. A couple of days later they came back with a fully costed quote and we gave them the go-ahead and set a date of 15 February for the works to start. Our designated plumber/ fitter Mark arrived on time and laid floor protection all the way from the front door to the bathroom. He then cracked on with the work, keeping us updated as he went. At the end of every working day, the floor protection was rolled up and the whole area left as clean as when the job started. The work was finished on time and the standard and finish were even better than we had thought they would be. We would have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending A1 for their quality of work and the skills of their personnel. Excellent!

We used A1 several years ago to refit our bathroom and we were very pleased with their level of service, standard of workmanship and the quality of the products used so it was a no brainer to use them again when we had our downstairs cloakroom refurbished. Once again we were very impressed with their level of service even in these exceptional times. Everyone was very Covid aware with social distancing etc and the planning for the whole job with people being on site to carry out their various jobs was good so it all went very smoothly. As expected the standard of workmanship was excellent as was the service even when we decided to fully tile the room half way through the job. Mark took in on board, gave us the new price, organised the extra tiles and they were fitted with no fuss and now the cloakroom looks wonderful, very pleased.

Excellent work in all respects. A1 renewed our cloakroom, which was looking a bit tired after 30 years. The whole process through from planning, surveying and implementation was done most professionally, and with the minimum of fuss. We are delighted with the results.

Work on our bathroom started in March but came to a halt due to lockdown. It was finished in June and well worth waiting for! A1 were very helpful from the first meeting to completion of the work and kept us informed at all stages. We are very pleased with the standard of work, especially Rob's attention to detail, and would not hesitate to recommend them.

The work involved retiling the bathroom floor, lining the shower cubicle with solid core laminate, sorting out a long-standing leak from the shower, and remedial work to the toilet cistern. The site was kept in a very neat and tidy condition, I was always kept well informed (including during lockdown), the workmanship was to an excellent standard and nothing was too much trouble.

After living in our house for 33 years we needed both our bathroom and en suite completely refitted. We chose A1 because they could provide a complete in-house service (design, ordering, project management, all trades). We found the team to be polite, tidy, helpful and hardworking. Any problems were sorted out without fuss. The work was completed to a high standard. Work had to stop for eight weeks because of the Covid-19 lock down but the team took good care to observe the necessary safety procedures. Altogether we are very happy with the end result.

Showroom very impressive. From the first visit, the staff was very helpful. I needed the bathroom completely redesigned as my husband is very disabled and I needed to make the bathroom accessible to him. I was given very good advice and the bathroom was designed around him but still looked good. The installers were perfect. Punctual, helpful, and a pleasure to have around. They kept everything as clean as they could in the circumstances. I was informed daily what would be happening next. I had a problem with hot water on a Saturday. Someone came out within an hour of my call to rectify it. Very grateful for that. I am very pleased with the quality and appearance of the bathroom. I would definitely recommend them.

We opted for A1 as they were the only local trader we researched that provided a complete service and we were not disappointed. From design to completion of the work, the staff were professional, friendly and a pleasure to deal with. We were sorry to see them go. After a fair bit of negotiating, they have given us exactly the kitchen we were after and we could not be happier.

Dealing with A1 was a smooth experience right through from the initial quote to the finished job. The showroom and quotation process was pleasant, with no hard sell, and once we decided to go ahead we were able to choose a mutually convenient start date. Every step of the installation was explained clearly; all workmen were friendly, thorough and punctual, and always took care to clean up each day. There were no deviations from the quotation, aside from a few extras which we requested and were given very reasonable prices on. We are 100% happy with our finished bathroom. Fully recommended.

This was to be our third new kitchen ,we had an idea of what we wanted.From the moment we walked into the showroom everybody as been superb,listening offering ideas letting us take samples away. Fitting was the best we have ever had.We chose this company because all the fitters are in house they are professional courteous and tidy.would we use them again definitely.

A1 bathrooms and kitchen are a company I would highly recommend. The whole process was easy and stress free. The sales and design team were faultless. Pretty much anything was possible and there was no hanging around waiting for quotations and information. Any changes were accommodated without fuss and they kept within budget. No nasty surprises down the line. The fitters were tidy, friendly and polite. The standard of workmanship is excellent. Any areas of concern along the way were dealt with promptly and without issue. There were some slight damages to door frames and a piece of furniture, but these were repaired/replaced without quibble. The fitter said to me that "if I wasn't happy, he wasn't happy" and that was the general vibe I got from the company as a whole. All in all a pleasant easy process , the end result of which is a stunning bathroom and en suite. Thank you to all the team at A1.

Mark in the showroom was extremely knowledgeable and helpful when it came to finialising the bathroom plans. The workmen were punctual, efficient and tidied up at the end of each day. The work was completed on budget and on time. The workmen were happy to answer any questions I had during the installation. After care was excellent. I was given all the relevant numbers to contact once the bathroom was completed if I had any issues or concerns. Thank you A1!

I was really impressed by the team from A1 Bathrooms and Kitchens. They were very good both in the design phase, adapting the quote to our needs and at installation discussing the timeline and work involved, including adapting to the inevitable challenges that occur. What was great for us is that it was project managed from start to end, with a fully refitted bathroom, power shower, basin, toilet, cabinets, heated towel rail, cabinets and the ceiling re plastered! At the same time the downstairs cloakroom was updated (basin, cabinet and toilet). We have been really happy with the results!

I chose A1 Bathrooms after a relative had used them, and was impressed by the quality of workmanship. I had a separate bathroom and toilet - the rooms were knocked into one and everything was replaced, with new tiling and flooring fitted. A walk-in shower replaced the bath. The salesperson was very helpful with the design over several visits to the impressive showroom, which was a very positive experience. The work was done within budget with a slight delay due to delivery of a replacement larger cold water cistern that wouldn't go through the loft hatch (not the fault of A1) but all was resolved completely satisfactorily. The traders were excellent, friendly, helpful and tidy, and communication with the project manager was excellent. I'm very pleased with the quality of the installation and fittings, and would have no hesitation in recommending the company to others.

I had already decided on the plan for my new kitchen but the designer suggested a couple of improvements which were then incorporated in the final design. The team who worked on the kitchen were very friendly and considerate, always leaving the site clean and tidy. Communication between the different trades was impressive. Although there was an initial problem with the design of the doors, they worked very speedily to resolve this. This did result in an overall delay, but most of the kitchen equipment was useable during this time. A1 staff kept me informed throughout the process. Additional costs were minimal, resulting in the project being mainly within budget. All work is now complete and my new kitchen is everything I wanted. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

The quality of the work was excellent. The work involved taking out the old bathrooms/showers and installing new toilets. basins, showers, tiling, electrics, and extending the shower area. The people working on the project were polite, tidy, courteous, friendly and kept us up to date on progress. The work was finished on schedule and at the agreed price. I would use them again.

A1 refitted our 20 year old ensuite and bathroom. I really cannot fault the whole experience from start to finish. Arriving at an agreed design and choice of fittings was made easy. The guys who did the fitting, electrics and tiling are all at the top of their game. The end result exceeded our expectations. There was the odd hiccup along the way, but what separated A1 for us was their approach to resolving these problems. We really felt that they were going the extra mile, presenting sensible options and recommendations. Would not hesitate to use A1 again.
