We have recently used Absolute for a second project as we were so pleased with the work they did for us last year. This time they have built a smaller patio at the bottom of the garden - a perfect "sundowner spot" to match the larger patio they built last year. They also created a small wildlife pond and finally a gravel garden area to match in with our existing front drive after renovation works. The new works blend in perfectly with the old house as we had hoped. Pete, Charlie, Blake and Dan all did an excellent job each playing to their individual skills. A real team! We would heartily recommend Absolute for any landscaping projects.

The team at Absolute did a fantastic job landscaping both our front and back gardens. They were incredibly efficient, hard-working, and dependable. They kept us informed at every stage of the project and were very patient and adaptable when we requested changes to the original project scope. Pete and his team were incredibly friendly and easy to work with. It was a pleasure working with them. I would certainly use Absolute for any future projects and have no qualms recommending them.

We had the team from Absolute Fencing come and remove an old chain link fence and hedge. Then install a new fence. We also had them take up and relay the area of slate paving we have in front of the main entrance and it now much more solid and looks nice as well. They did a really good job the fence looks really good. They removed all the rubbish and where able to accommodate getting the skip moved when a neighbour needed it to be moved for a delivery. Would recommend to others to use them.

Absolute Gardens fitted a balustrade and also a new fence for me. The balustrade was extremely tricky with many unexpected issues as I had sourced the balustrade independently but they went out of their way to make it work, to the extent of speaking directly to the company from whom I had sourced to confirm the best method of attaching it, and I am delighted with the end result. Everyone who was involved in the project was always extremely polite, friendly and helpful; for example understanding the importance of keeping the back gate shut as we have a young puppy. They arrived promptly daily, worked really hard throughout some difficult weather - with plummeting temperatures and then heavy rain to deal with. They communicated with me throughout so I knew what was happening at all times, which I really appreciated. Overall a very positive experience. I have already recommended them to others and propose to use them again in the near future.

The team at Absolute Gardens are great! Everyone is professional and they did a fantastic job completely transforming my driveway. They were great all the way from consulting me about the desired finish through the work itself and making sure all the details I wanted were carried out correctly. This is the second time we have used Absolute Gardens. On removal of a shed we discovered that part of our old 6 foot, rear garden wall was cracked and liable to fall into our neighbour's garden. Within two weeks, as the wall was dangerous, Absolute Gardens were able to take down the wall and recover most of the old bricks for re-use. The demolition, new footings including lintels over huge tree roots (so as not to damage a large tree on the boundary) and the new double thickness wall with pillars was constructed - brilliant! The workforce are efficient, polite and always tidy. A pleasure to have on site. Nothing is too much trouble, even a repair to our adjoining neighbour's fence to complete the job.

The Absolute Gardens team have undertaken work at both my home and business, in some cases rectifying shoddy work done by other builders, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Absolute Gardens put in a new patio, steps and retaining wall for us. Chris and the guys started by giving us good advice on what to do, materials, colours etc to fit in well with the rest of the house and when it came to do the job they were very professional, clean and tidy and worked very hard. Cutting in new borders and installing Everedge in our rear garden was always going to be a bit tricky with hidden tree roots and random bits of aggregate hiding below the surface in places. Absolute Gardens replaced a 2m by18m garden retaining wall in my steeply terraced gardens. This was a substantial project which was completed on schedule and on budget. Despite the challenging access, the team worked tirelessly and the result is a significant improvement to my garden. Chris and his team (Jack, Adam, Matt and Pete) were punctual, polite and skilled. I am happy to recommend Absolute Gardens.

I can’t rate Chris and his team highly enough. We asked Chris to come and have a look at our garden which we wanted to revamp. We asked Chris to put a raised bed along a fence and to provide plants and trees to make a garden look more established and take on the Mediterranean feel. His team worked tirelessly and actually managed to complete the work very quickly. Chris also came in under budget - something we are really chuffed about! The work was completed on time and on budget. The staff arrived at 8am each day and worked through inclement weather with the minimum of fuss. Each day they cleared up any mess. They communicated exactly what the plans were and executed the work as planned. I was very impressed and would strongly recommend them.

The work involved laying turf, replacing paving slabs, cleaning our drive, replacing some grass with stones etc. They gave us useful advice on the work we wanted done, including recommendations as to what wasn't really advisable. They were polite, helpful and hardworking. The work was done to a high standard and to schedule and a few little extras were included which we appreciated. One aspect of the work remains to be done when the weather improves.

We have just had our front garden landscaped to make maintenance easier. Chris from Absolute Gardens took our suggestions on board and came up with a look that we are extremely happy with. Dates for the work to be done were agreed at the outset and adhered to. The work itself was done mainly by Dan who was very courteous and ensured the site was kept clean and tidy - difficult given the rain and mud from digging up the lawn. Absolute gardens did a fantastic job redoing our front driveway as well as our back garden. The whole team were polite, punctual and focussed on our job. Chris was willing to suggest new ideas and provide good advice but also listened to our thoughts too. The back garden is now much lower maintenance and we have created a patio to enjoy the evening sun. The job was completed to time and within the budget agreed.

We have used this company before which is why we returned to them for this job! We had quite a big job to be done - two concrete bases - one for a log cabin and one for a greenhouse plus many panels of fencing plus the laying of a large patio. The two guys who did the bulk of the work - Pete and Jack - were probably the best workers ever to do a job for us - always helpful and willing to listen to any ideas we had and so so tidy and polite - most workers we have experienced have left our garden like a dumping ground but at the end of every day Pete and Jack left everything as they found it! The job did take longer than expected due to accessing materials and delays to paving slab delivery but the finished job was worth the wait - the patio has been laid to perfection and we are thrilled with it - the back of our garden has been completely transformed and seems to give the garden the wow factor now!

We would highly recommend this company. Excellent communication throughout the project and the finished two patios and garden path exceeded our expectations. The garden was left tidy at the end of every day and the men working on the project were more than happy to talk us through the current stage and what would be happening next. Chris and the team at Absolute Gardens have been fantastic from the beginning to end of our project. The team are friendly, approachable, hardworking and very tidy, making sure everything is in order before they leave for the day. Our garden renovation was a large project, pretty much starting from scratch and not keeping or salvaging anything. I was very happy I chose Absolute Gardens to do a new patio, steps, and 3 small walls in my garden. The old patio, step risers and walls had to be removed and prepared for the new but was cleared very quickly and prepared well for the next stage. From when the team started the work, you felt in good hands and had people who knew what they were doing. This took the stress and worry away that the money I was spending and the job would be done properly made it so worthwhile. Chris organised all the ordering and deliveries which was great and the team off-loaded the materials. All the team were very good and hardworking. I have to mention Gary too as he did the main work on the patio etc. and was timely, conscientious, hardworking and took pride in his work. Also had some trellis put up and a small amount of planting as an extra and the team fitted this in after the main work had been done soon after. Chris, Pete and the team have completed a transformation of the rear patio and driveway of our house over a 10 week period through snow, rain, wind and sun. The whole team were charming and a delight to have on site. The work began in May and involved many tons of earth being excavated. We were able to discuss the design as the work progressed and nothing was too much trouble for the team. The attention to detail and the workmanship of the stone and brick work is fabulous. The patio and drive look stunning and the end result has exceeded our expectations. We would have no hesitation in recommending Absolute Gardens.

Initially discussed the project with Chris and agreed on price. Work commenced in January and was completed in March. Chris and his team were very approachable and worked solidly, sometimes in less than favourable weather conditions. We had regular and entirely amicable discussions throughout. The completed work was carried out to a very high standard and has transformed both the front and back of the property using materials sympathetic to a 1930's house.

The team were absolutely outstanding in completing the re-paving of the side of the back garden and creating a concrete base for the new shed. The paving is immaculate, the attention to detail is incredible and the end result is beyond what we expected. Polite, extremely hard working and a pleasure to have around. We will definitely be using Chris and the team for any future jobs we need.

The new patio was well planned and the team arrived as scheduled. The team worked hard and were polite and helpful. A broken down retaining wall was removed and the footings dug in appalling weather conditions. The new wall was built within the time frame and, together with ancillary work, carried out to a high standard. It was well worth the wait (booked in October). The cost was reasonable, and Pete and his team were very hard working, courteous and always had a smile. Chris runs a very good company. I would use them again and fully recommend them.

Chose Absolute Gardens because of Chris's vision and understanding of what we were trying to do. And a sensible price. Recognising covid and other challenges we agreed a start date some months after receipt of quote. The removal of the old patio, pond and fencing was a really major job, requiring Chris, Dan, John and Gary to take everything directly through our utility (we have no side access). and bring all the new materials in through the house too. They were incredibly careful, clean and tidy. And then did an absolutely marvelous job of the patio, designed the new pond far better than we could have managed to, and built a lovely new wall between us and our neighbours (who were so pleased with the quality of the wall and the clean and tidy way the team worked that they sent us a thank you present!) The team coped with our change of mind over a couple of things, and the outcome is a fabulous new patio, pond, wall, yard and 'far patio'. Role on the BBQs for next year. The final price was entirely consistent with the quote and our changes of mind, and very reasonable. We are truly delighted. Thank you to Chris and the team.

Discussed the project with Chris back in the summer, Chris giving good ideas for the layout, being on a diagonally sloping site this was quite challenging. The work began in October which was fine as I needed to get rid of a couple of fir trees and move an existing shed. It was Pete and Jack who built the patio, they were very good and kept us informed throughout along with Chris's input. The patio is much better than I imagined and the workmanship top class. I would recommend Chris and his team for any garden construction. Thank you very much.

I need to convert my garden to low maitenance as I find it difficult to get around these days. Chris came round and reccommended what could be done and also redo the front of the house including renewing the steps to the front door. The staff he employs were hard working, helpful and polite working from 8 am until the light failed. They were very quiet even when using a digger and cement mixer. I hardly noticed them but admired their progress at the end of each day. I am more than pleased with the end result. I can strongly reccommend this company.

Chris did a fantastic job building a raised rear patio and totally transforming our front garden and drive. The standard of workmanship was excellent throughout and Chris has assembled a great, friendly team who share his attention to detail. Absolute Gardens built us a new patio recently. The workmanship was first class throughout. They completed it quickly and efficiently without compromising on any quality. We are absolutely delighted with the results. The team was professional and friendly, they turned up on time, their workmanship could not be faulted and they cleared up the area nicely upon completion. They encountered unexpected problems removing the old post spurs, which were heavily embedded in concrete, but remained positive and didn't complain about the extra effort and time required. We would unreservedly recommend them and would use them again for future garden projects.

Chris responded very promptly to our initial enquiry and was happy to come and chat through ideas in person, he socially distanced so we felt totally safe. We agreed on a new patio and pergola under the trees at the bottom of our garden under tall conifer trees where no grass grows. This work has now been completed by Dan and his team and we are delighted with the end result. They were polite and courteous and easy to have in the garden. They were fantastic with our dog too! We couldn’t have been happier with the work done by Chris, Dan, Gary, Peter and Jack. This was a big project, spread over 7 months, to extend a patio, building two new retaining walls, digging out tree stumps and weeds, and paving and turfing large areas. From the start Chris offered excellent advice and took the time to make sure everything was done right, never cutting corners - for example letting the hardcore settle behind the retaining wall for six months before paving. Every member of the team was polite, tidy and friendly, and for the time the work was completed during lockdown they never entered the house (and we had a father-son team who lived together so no concerns). We made changes to the scope of the work often at late notice and Chris and the team were very accommodating, even when it was difficult to secure materials in lockdown. Overall this is a highly professional outfit and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. You might have to wait for them to be available - but that’s always a good sign.

We booked Absolute Gardens to replace a rotted, raised decking area and lay a new patio. Chris was really easy to deal with when we were planning the project and offered some excellent advice in regard to positioning of steps, lighting and materials to use. The team of Peter and Jack were extremely professional and friendly, very tidy and the level of workmanship was excellent. All the team were happy to field questions and address any changes we wanted as we went along. They also kept us informed of timescales throughout the project and finished the job exactly when they said they would. We would highly recommend Chris and his Absolute Gardens team; they work to a very high specification and standard and are really easy to deal with. We would definitely use them again.

We had our patio area at the rear replaced including a new wall, move of steps at Chris' good suggestion and new fencing at the side. The requirements changed as the old concrete was removed and Chris explained how this would be done. Peter and Jack carried out all the work in an excellent and efficient way, letting us know each day what would be done. Despite bad weather during the work they remained cheerful and carried on regardless. When it was necessary to postpone on certain days some of the work because of heavy rain they gave the reasoning and returned as soon as the rain stopped.

We met Chris in February 2019 to discuss our outline plans for our front garden. These consisted of; 1) new driveway 2) new steps and path to the front door and back gate 3) replace the collapsing wall between us and our neighbour 4) replace front wall to the front garden. Chris was very clear about what was required and made a couple of suggestions that were very helpful. He then let us have a written quote within 2 weeks and we paid a small deposit and agreed a start date in September. Chris invited us to visit some of the local sites where he has worked to see the quality of their workmanship. We didn't visit any because of the great reviews on this site and Chris had been recommended to us by another trustworthy local trader. Work started promptly in the second week of September and progressed steadily through to completion last week on 17th October, about 5 weeks. Despite the variable weather the team were on site for every day except one (which was torrential rain). Dan, Gary, Jack and Chris all worked hard every day throughout. The work was completed on time and exactly to the original quote. I would thoroughly recommend Absolute Gardens for their professionalism, craftsmanship, friendliness and ability to contribute to what we were trying to achieve. We didn't have any issues at all because it felt like a partnership with Chris and his team and anything that came up was dealt with as we went along. Absolute Gardens is a top, top trader and so say our neighbours too!

Have used Absolute Gardens on a number of occasions. This was probably the biggest job I have used them for. They have remodelled the entire frontage of my house with a new block-paved driveway, front wall, sidewall and fence. They also did a small rear patio. They were very accommodating and flexible. Work was done on time as planned and to an excellent standard. Really happy with everything and people have commented on how good the driveway looks and that it lifts the whole character of the house. Great job.

We have used Absolute Gardens once before and we were delighted with the workmanship then. This time we wanted to make changes to the lawn and add a pathway. Peter and Jack made a wonderful job. Absolute gardens recently replaced and extended our existing patio, paths and steps with Indian sandstone. This included building an additional retaining wall and rebuilding and widening steps to the front of our house. Dan and Gary were very polite and tidy and did an excellent job. They always double-checked with us at each decision point. The end product meets all our requirements and was completed to schedule and budget. I was initially unsure about the slab colour but with Chris' guidance, I opted for a lighter shade than originally intended (to avoid excessive colour contrast between slabs). I have no hesitation in recommending Absolute Gardens.

We had a driveway and retaining wall completed. The crew were Peter and Jack. What can we say what a great work ethic. They were punctual and tidy. Their method of laying a driveway gives confidence that it will last many decades. We would have no hesitation in recommending this firm for all outdoor work that you need.

After several weather-related delays(!), the team from Absolute Gardens completed my job very quickly. Some decorative garden brickwork and repairs to a water feature surround just as planned. Very nice work, and a very tidy job as well.

The block wall of our 20 year old patio had cracked in several places and was increasingly leaning outwards. The pointing had mostly gone from between the slabs on the patio and the edge of the block front drive had crumbled. There was no easy fix for this. Chris advised that the wall would need to be rebuilt and in the event the retaining wall was inadequate and entire new footings and a block wall reinforced with steel was built by Gary. The original facing blocks were cleaned and reused and the entire patio relaid on a reinforced cement base. The team of Gary and Dan were there every day early and worked solidly until the job was done. Dan constructed an excellent fence and Gary's work on the patio was excellent and it looks great now.

We used Absolute Gardens to build a large patio area and re-vamp some other parts of our garden. Chris was great from the start. He came round to talk about what we wanted to do and give us his ideas. He gave us a quote which turned out to be pretty accurate (so often these things aren't!). The guys who did the work were great - prompt, friendly, easy to talk to, courteous and seemingly very hard-working. Work was spot on and communication was good throughout. We're really pleased with our new patio - it looks great - and would certainly use Chris and his team again.

My sadly overgrown fruit garden which had become too much for me to cope with has been replaced with paved paths, including a space for seating, and a gravel area. it looks beautiful now. Chris made lots of suggestions when he came to survey the ground and wasn't fazed by the quantity of fruit canes, bushes and other materials that required clearing. Pete, along with his assistant Dan, made an excellent job of the project and I am so pleased with it. Pete was able to make a few tweaks to the original plan as we discussed it and as occurred to him while the work was progressing, making it even better looking and safer for me to access. Pete is very thoughtful in his approach and friendly, skilful, tidy and hard working. I can thoroughly recommend Absolute gardens.

Urgent repair was undertaken to fence blown over during the recent windy weather. Service was very prompt and very professionally undertaken. I have used Absolute Gardens before and cannot recommend them highly enough. The teams know exactly what they are doing and have helpful suggestions. Great value for money and the quality of work completed is very high. Would not use any other gardening service.

Chris and his team created a new garden path for us and also built a flower bed while they were on site. We are very pleased with the outcome and have had lots of comments from neighbours about the quality of the work. Chris and his team were very easy to have around, very polite, tidy, punctual and accommodating. Chris, Pete and the team did a great job building some new garden steps and a retaining wall. Very friendly and professional manner from the whole team, nothing too much trouble. We are very pleased with the new steps and wall. Chris and his team also provide garden maintenance for us on a fortnightly basis and along with that and the new steps and wall the garden has not looked better in a long while. There were a series of jobs to be carried out. Chris was local, well reputed and reasonable for the work which was extensive. Time was of the essence as a new lawn was to be laid. Chris's team were prompt, skilled, polite and friendly. One day it rained all day but the building of a wall proceeded under gazebos. The site was left neat and tidy each day. Chris supervised the work and joined in where needed. Nothing was too much trouble. I am entirely satisfied now the job is complete. I will recommend Absolute Gardens should the opportunity arise.

When I got in touch with Chris from Absolute Gardens, I had an idea what I wanted to do with the garden, but wasn't sure what it would look like and after talking to Chris I knew I was going to get the garden I wanted, he had advised me what he thought would look nice and he was absolutely correct. When the team turned up they were so nice and really worked hard to give me the garden I wanted, all the work has been carried out in the timescales given. Chris and the team were complete professionals. The garden before consisted of some decking, some grass which had a slop and overgrown flower beds, now I have a completely paved garden which has been leveled, new stairs into the garden from a paved deck outside the patio doors, new stairs into the garage, two new flower beds, the whole garden looks amazing. I also have new raised flower beds in the front garden. I am so glad I put my trust in Chris and the team and as I am not really a gardener, I will also get the team to look after my garden going forward. Thank you Chris and the team for a beautiful job

Chris from absolute gardens was the go to guy when I needed my old patio replaced and enlarged. He listened to what I wanted and explained what he could do and gave me price , which we agreed on and a date was set for the work to commence. His team of Pete and Jack were very friendly and arrived on time and set to work straight away. Even when the weather conspired against them it didn't dampen their spirits. The work was completed within time and to a high standard, they even had time to sort out my rotary washing line. All in all a fantastic new patio has been delivered for us to enjoy the rest of the summer.

We met with Chris after reading Which reviews and the brief was to transform our elevated garden plot of solid clay, flint and weeds into a useable space and to replace a boundary wall to create privacy. After three weeks of extreme hard graft (in extreme heat!), Chris' team of Dan and Yani did just that. The job was complicated due to the levels and steep steps up to the plot but it didn't phase these professionals. The guys were punctual, dedicated to the task, giving advice and suggestions along the way. We are now enjoying our beautiful new garden terrace and are very proud of what they have created. We would highly recommend Chris and his team.

The missus decided that the patio needed replacing as the existing was way past its sell-by date and therefore contacted a local trader, Absolute Gardens. Chris, the owner, came round to inspect the site last summer and due to what was required, it was agreed that the work would be done this summer when the ground had had a chance to dry out as the house has no side access and the rubble would need to go out through the garage. We received the phone call a few weeks back and the digging out started on the Monday. Jack and Pete were the combination who were here for the duration with Chris making the occasional visit to check progress. Despite the inevitable dust, the pair were as tidy as possible and appraised us of what was happening. They were also very courteous throughout

The task was to remove 50 year old crazy paving and two sets of steps from the house, removal of stone raised bed wall and erect two trellis panels. The complications were the variance of levels and slopes and a tricky corner, also a lady very prone to change her mind. We had no set ideas so Chris's expertise and professional to his fingertips guided us to a lovely new larger patio with smart brickwork and safer steps. The stars of the show were the two hard working men who completed this work in the hottest weather we have had for years. Peter and Jack are two of the nicest, most courteous and helpful people you could have working on you home. Peter consulted and informed us every step of the way. They even carried in my shopping! Having had a new conservatory built we now needed our old patio taken up and reshaped. A large part of my garden had become overgrown with bramble and other weeds, a tree had outgrown its spot and a boundary fence was nearing the end of its life. Having lived with our weird shaped decking for a few years we decided to upgrade to a paved patio, we had a number of quotes from various people but when we spoke to Chris we decided to go with Absolute gardens, nothing seemed to be a problem and we felt confident they would do a great job.... we were right we now have a lovely level slate patio with a couple of steps down to the garden. My garden needed a a huge overhaul, and having spoken with a few companies I chose Chris from Absolute Gardens..... and I'm so glad I did. Not once through the 6 week project did I ever worry about quality of work or progress. the work ethic of the team ( I mostly had Chris and Yani) was phenomenal, they worked so hard and to such a high standard that even my ex army elderly father was impressed (he couldn't fault them)! My garden is large, terraced and on clay (so difficult soil), but Chris and Yani overcame any issue they faced, and Chris made suggestions along the way which were welcomed, as he has a brilliant eye for detail, and could see potential which I had overlooked. The end result was stunning and it is now a pleasure to look out on to a garden with beautiful hard and soft landscaping, and I know that the stonework will last a lifetime. I was so impressed I've rebooked Absolute to come back and do my front garden wall, and also to come in 4 times a year to keep on top of things. Having been let down by two previous garden companies - they didn't turn up to give estimates as promised - we decided to phone Absolute Gardens. Chris booked an appointment and came at the time arranged. He was very pleasant and explained the different types of fencing to us and showed us different types on the laptop. Having chosen the fence he sent an acceptable estimate to which we agreed. The fencing work was carried out during the very cold period in December. The men never complained about the weather they, just got on with the job in hand. The work was carried out both efficiently and to our total satisfaction. When the men left each day it was as if they hadn't been there. They cleaned and tidied everything before leaving our property, even down to sweeping the kitchen floor. The work was carried out tidily with minimal disruption and damage to the plants in the garden. We have a fish pond, which could have been a problem, but they solved that by covering it and no damage was down either to the pond or the fish. They worked throughout the day and were always cheerful and pleasant and uncomplaining about the cold conditions and very wet soil they had to dig for the fence posts. The men worked as a team - they never appeared to communicate instructions to each other - it was as if they knew what they had to do and "got on with it". We would recommend Absolute Gardens for their efficiency, workmanship, friendliness and politeness. A great job by a great company.

We approached Absolute Gardens having heard good reviews of their work. We wanted to change the layout of our patio at the same time as changing the slabs themselves. We took on board Chris' ideas and recommendations and it quickly became clear he knew his stuff. We also wanted to build a log cabin and a shed at the bottom of our garden so needed two concrete bases built. On top of the two main projects we had some old garden walls removed and replaced with sleepers, a hedge removed and replaced with a fence and a pergola built on the new patio. All of these were carried out well and have dramatically improved our back garden. Our house had just been re rendered and our requests for care to be taken during the patio laying stage were carefully adhered to. Dan and his team are very courteous and were very tidy throughout the job which took about 6 weeks. Dan has some good ideas and is clearly passionate about his work. The process from quoting to finishing the job was carried out in a very professional manner and we would not hesitate in recommending them.

Dan and his colleague removed a long line of fencing which had some stubborn posts and concrete! They were diligent in preparing the ground for our Cherry Laurel hedge which was suggested and sourced by Chris, the owner, whose ideas were very helpful. Dan also extended our shed base ready for our new larger shed. They were punctual, polite and hard working and the price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend them.

Chris and his team have successfully transformed both our back and front gardens. We’re on a sloping plot and they have installed terracing that provides useable spaces and beds that we can now plant up with ease. While we had vague ideas of what we wanted from our garden, Chris was able to respond to our sketchy thoughts with a solid design plan. The work on the back garden was completed a few years ago and they have recently completed the front. On both occasions the work plan was discussed with awareness of how the weather would potentially affect the timetable. When working on the back we had one of the longest periods of snow on the ground, but as it had been anticipated the programme continued with awnings and heaters on hand while the patio was laid. A few years on it still looks great. We have always found Chris and his team professional and courteous, easy to get along with and keen to get stuck into the job in hand.

Our garden was desperate and completely awful. Having been completely paved over 20 years ago and full of weeds it was not a nice place to be. Chris and his team completely transformed it by removing all the paving and replacing it with a fabulous lawn complete with water feature and beautifully edged curving beds, along with a large new patio. We first met Chris when embarking on a major project to completely renovate our large jungle of a back garden which required large areas to be levelled, patio built, steps and walls constructed and planting. Chris and his team have done an amazing job and the garden continues to improve as the shrubs and plants mature. Some of the pictures on this website are of our garden. Since the initial project Chris has returned to rebuild our drive and replace some fencing on a difficult slope. We have always found Chris reliable and easy to work with.

We decided that it was time to remove 5 trees from one side of our garden. Not knowing who to ask we read through Purley Pages and decided to try Absolute Garden Ltd (we had also seen then in and around the neighbourhood). Chris came around to give us an estimate and recommended Jacksons Fencing. When the time came they turned up on time, were always courteous, worked conscientiously, cleared away each evening and removed all rubbish at the end of the job. Would highly recommend this firm for 'one off' tasks around the garden. Their order book would appear to be rather full so don't expect the work to be completed immediately. Quality comes at a price and one of these is that you have to wait however the wait was worthwhile. Thank you Chris and Dan.

We had a wasted area to the back of our garden which, as it is north facing, captures the last of the sun before it sets. The team from Absolute Gardens flattened the area removing a lot of soil, moving two sheds in the process, and then laying a lovely sandstone patio area, with a neat path leading towards it. Always courteous to the client, I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I first met Chris in about 2001 when he came to price landscaping the garden of the home I had just purchased. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He landscaped the whole back garden for me, clearing it of all but a couple of healthy shrubs, putting down weed suppressant covering and planting new shrubs. A couple of years later he laid a new patio of beautiful stone for me and then did my driveway in small bricks. In the last couple of weeks I have used his services again to reshape the now mature garden. All their work has been excellent and the companies gardeners are very trustworthy and friendly and discuss exactly what you would like to be done and what the options are. We bought our house new in 2009 and the front and back gardens needed a considerable amount of landscaping work in order to make them attractive. Absolute Gardens Ltd has carried out virtually all of this work over the years since we moved in. The major jobs were: 1. The whole of the back garden (design, walls, steps, patio, turf); 2. The whole of the front garden (design, patio, turf, some planting); 3. Re-laying the front driveway and garden path (design, low walls, patio); and 4. Back garden fence (new brick wall and pillars). It is a measure of our appreciation of this firm's work that we have engaged them to come back and handle all of these, quite substantial, jobs over a period of 6 years now, and we have been very pleased to allow photographs to be posted in local magazines to illustrate the work the firm has carried out. A very competent and thoroughly reliable business!

I started using Chris and his team for tending to my mothers garden initially, which was getting out of hand. His team came round and gave valuable advice on what was needed to keep it looking good an from then on they turned up, regular as clockwork every two weeks and managed ever part of the garden. It was so good, that I then added them to keep my own garden as well, and have had them now for the whole of 2015 and I wonder why I didn't do it earlier! They have set such a good standard that now I have my neighbours asking to use them, and I am always more than happy to recommend them. They do my regular maintenance and then also will do one-off jobs as required such as tree removal etc. Always polite, always a quality job and only ever charge me for what they need to do. Superb and I highly recommend them.

We replaced an old patio area adjacent to our lawn with a new one, and replaced the steps leading to this area. In the process, we also converted what was previously a paved area into lawn. Chris has been great to deal with throughout the process and is very attentive to any detail. To start with, Chris came several times to discuss the job and prepare the quote, including on week-ends when requested. Chris is also pro-active in making suggestion and improved my original idea doing so. Chris stuck to the agreed price -if unexpected extras appear during the works Chris let us know first, provided a quote and we could decide to go ahead or not. The job was meticulously done, the works area is kept well organised and clean, and Chris employees are equally very nice and polite. After finishing the job, Chris did not hesitate to come several times to finish the clean-up etc. I would definitively recommend Chris and will use him again.
