I ordered some weatherboards for some vintage recycled garage doors I had installed at home. Andy made the boards having recommended which timber to use. The end result is excellent and far cheaper than a quote I had from another Cheshire sawmill. His team is friendly and helpful if he is out as he is kept busy by his many customers!

We honestly can’t recommend Andy and his team enough. What an incredible job they have done on our stairs. It has completely transformed the internal look of our house. Workmanship is second to none, but above all the guys were professional, and cleaned up after themselves every day after work. I would highly highly recommend these guys. Amazing 🤩

10 August: The reason for contacting this company was because they have so many 5 star reviews, in fact, all their reviews are 5 star which I find is an exceptional achievement. I spoke to the owner, Andy, and asked for a quote to replace some decking. He told me that he wasn't very busy as he hadn't much work on. He was given two mobile numbers so he could phone and make arrangements to view. 13 August: Andy was telephoned again in order to establish if he had been out to price the job up or had made arrangements to. He told me that he thought he had taken down both the mobile numbers incorrectly that I'd given him over the phone which had prevented him from making contact. It was established that he had written down the wrong mobile numbers and was subsequently texted with the correct ones. Red Flag here; why didn't Andy query the contact numbers with me when he knew they were incorrect? He told me that he was really very very busy as he also owned a Saw Mill in Chester and had over 700 pieces to deliver before Saturday (this was Thurs) He promised to call the correct mobile numbers straight away and then get back to me. 3 September: As of today's date, Andy has still not been back in contact with me. Now I would not call his behaviour 5 star nor would I personally refer to him as a Trusted Trader

AJ Solutions showed great care in and around our home, the job was done on time and the end result is top quality. We had Oak handrails, bottom rails and treads all custom made and fitted by Andy and his team, as well as the spindles and risers, which we had in white. The Danish oil recommended by the team has really brought out the natural oak colour. Andy takes great pride in his profession and we got to witness this more at one of the company's workshops. Will be in touch again to have other works done on the house.

AJS Joinery were absolutely spot on. Competitive price, turned up at the agreed time and were professional and friendly. Andy was very knowledgeable about the trade and wood species, giving advice on how to care for the wood after installation. The job was completed within the timescales given and done so to a high standard and although there was obviously some mess during the job, the areas that were worked in were spotless afterwards. Would highly recommend and will use again!

Andy is a very personable, friendly and professional craftsman and it was a pleasure to have him work at our home. Andy fitted 12 inch skirting boards in our 1908 Edwardian property utilising tools from the same period along with an array of modern equipment. He is very knowledgeable and extremely passionate about what he does as a trade. Andy listened to our brief in terms of the skirting boards and our ideas for other future jobs in the property including repairs to hardwood windows and refurbishment of a 1935 revolving cedar summer house. We felt that we had received an education, with Andy waxing lyrical about the period, making useful recommendations and and abundance of ideas for our period property. Andy was quick with ideas to save us money and no job was too small or too great as long as we were happy with his craftsmanship. He was also keen to point out pitfalls for novice property developers like us and things to be aware of when working on a period property. We trusted Andy and his craftsmanship exceeded all expectations. We are delighted with his work and he will be back to our property to help with a number of other jobs. Where Andy wasn’t able to help us in terms of his specialist trade he was only too happy to personally recommend fellow tradesmen which was very reassuring as if they are half as good as Andy we will be in very safe hands! We highly recommend Andy for a professional, efficient, friendly craftsman who provides excellent results!

Andy has recently completed changing 7 internal doors and handles 2 of which were more specialised doors , a large set of garage doors and a back gate all of which have been completed in a professional manner to the highest standard . Andy completed this work while I was in work and I thoroughly trusted him in my home.

Andy did a great job plastering a room for us. He contacted us quickly and arranged a convenient day to suit us. He plastered a room, and also advised on a couple of other jobs while he was there. He was really accommodating and helpful and left the room and house spotless. Great job and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again.
