We offer a range of building and joinery services including: oak framed bespoke building, extensions, general building work, traditional roofing, garage, loft and conservatory conversions, kitchens and general joinery work.
We are a small business that pride ourselves in the work and projects that we complete. We take a professional approach to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standards for customer satisfaction. We know what we are doing and complete full structural calculations to ensure that our building projects conform to the relevant building regulations. We had Andy in to fit 5 doors and some stud work for our new en-suite. We are new to the area so didn't know who to use. We had a couple of people round but felt Andy was the best fit for us. He was friendly and put us at ease straight away. He measured up, then sent us a very good quote to which we instantly said yes. He turned up as promised and his work is spot on, each night when we got home from work the place was tidy meaning there was minimal inconvenience for us. The end result was just as promised. I would not hesitate in recommending Andy to any one that asks and will no doubt be putting more work his way as it becomes necessary.

Andrew and Bernard hung 3 very heavy oak veneer doors for me. They did a splendid job, especially as one of the doorways was out of square. They left the job clean and tidy, clearing all of the dust and shavings. I have asked them to quote on another job too. Very impressed.

Choosing a good builder can be a daunting task. I have had bad experiences in the past! AMP were recommended to us and were absolutely fantastic. Our new kitchen extension and kitchen fit out was carried out with great care by Andy and his team. The building works were completed on time, on budget and we were kept informed all the way through. Unfortunately the kitchen designers made a series of errors resulting in major delays and problems for AMP. Andy has gone way and above the call of duty and we cannot recommend them enough. I think any other builder may have walked off the job. Highly recommended and sorry Andy-but we will call you for the next job!!

Andy and his team did a fantastic job extending our kitchen into a kitchen living area. From first site visit to completion andy and his team were very good, always kept me updated on progress. Despite challenging weather conditions over the winter work never seemed to stop. All aspects completed to a high standard with no complaints. Very good work at a reasonable price. Will definitely recommend and use again.

AMP Building and Joinery is a first rate company, Andy is honest, professional and extremely knowledgeable. The work he carried out for us was done exactly to the time-scale estimated; his hand-picked team of trade’s people was meticulous in all aspects of the work carried out to both the interior and exterior of our property. When his roofers discovered that the repairs they were to carry out was not as serious as estimated, Andy adjusted the final bill accordingly, which says much for his integrity. I highly commend this company to anyone wishing to have the highest quality of work carried out.
