ASM carried out the wiring of a new extension and updating of existing wiring in the house quickly, efficiently, tidily and at reasonable cost. I would use them again for any future work.

Some reservations

Overall satisfactory installation though seemed rushed and compromised in part. Unduly messy requiring extensive restoration work. Full call out charge applied for problem arising from restoration work I was left to cope with. Had to repeatedly remind them not to throw cigarette butts all over my garden. Chap in charge mildly aggressive/unpleasant in manner.

Mr Hart I am sorry to hear that you are unsatisfied with the works completed considering you signed our completion form to say you was happy with the service provided. During electrical works like recessing cables and back boxes into the wall, as you can understand this does cause dust and mess which is contained within the working area and cleared up once complete. When I returned as requested I failed to see extensive restoration works required. Filling of chases and small making good around the sockets was all that was required which during the quotation you mentioned that you was happy to carry out rather than ourselves. As discussed on the phone before attending your property, if the fault was due to us we would of course not charge you for this. As the fault was found to be that you had taken a faceplate off a double socket and during rescrewing the faceplate to the back box you had caught the cable causing a neutral to earth fault I fail to see how we are liable for this. The call out was fully explained on the phone before proceeding. With regards to the cigarettes butts, these were kept tidy and thrown out before leaving each day. Under no circumstances were they left all over your garden. With regards to your comments on my manner, I am sorry you feel this way. I would not say this is correct at all. Please ask my many other satisfied customers. Kind regards

Our work required the removal and reinstall of fittings in during redecoration and the installation of some new fittings. Shane and the team provided excellent customer care, they were courteous and professional at all times and the work was done to very good standard. We were particularly impressed that the team found time to pop back in the middle of our re-decorating to advise the plasterers on an unexpected minor complication. Professional Accurate Friendly and Informative. Great work and very confident. Supplied and fitted 2 Consumer Units to replace very old units to enable NICEIC approved contractor electrical installation certification. Discovered and repaired numerous faults and bad wiring. All work carried out efficiently within quoted costs and all additional work was reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
