Blizzard Refrigeration -Samsung Service Centre

We were connected to Blizzard Refrigeration via Samsung customer service when our American-style Fridge-Freezer stopped holding temperature in the fridge section. The engineer came out and identified that the Fan Cover Assembly had failed and needed replacing. This was carried out at a cost of £174 (parts+labour). We had also had intermittent problems with the ice maker freezing up so the engineer also quoted £324.60 for this to be replaced. We decided against the ice maker repair as it is an intermittent problem and we didn't feel it was cost effective on an 8 year old item. Less than 2 months later, we have the same problem of the fridge not keeping cold enough, having contacted Blizzard Refrigeration to arrange a replacement of the fan assembly cover under their 3 month warranty, we were told that the warranty didn't apply as we didn't have all of the repairs carried out that were listed on the original engineer report. At no point was it highlighted to us that we needed to have all the remedial work carried out to validate the 3 month warranty. The company now want an additional £399.60 to replace the fan assembly, ice maker and provide a 3 month warranty. Initially great service but then very poor communication and service when there is an issue with their repair.
