With over 10 years industry experience, along with a time served British Gas apprenticeship under my belt and expert training provided by the industry's leading manufacturers, I am well equipped to deal with all your Gas and heating needs. Whether it be a boiler service, breakdown/repair, boiler replacement, Landlord/Homeowner Gas safety inspection or even a leaking radiator, I am always on hand to provide you with a convenient, professional, reliable service.

Safely remove & lawfully dispose of existing central heating & hot water boiler. Supply & safely install a new boiler of my choice. Mr Simpkins did the gas-related work and used an electrician subcontracted to himself for half a day to do the electrical work. Mr Simpkins listened to and complied with my requirements. He worked effectively and carefully in my home and provided good solutions to the few snags which occurred in the job. Currently, the new boiler works well, the real test being when the central heating system is switched on. Based on my experience of Mr Simpkins work on this job, I will use home again, e.g. to keep my new boiler serviced. I appreciated the care which he took with my home.

Boiler broke down completely. Mr. Simpkins diagnosed the problem and came later to repair it. He discovered that a more vital part was broken, rang British Gas to find out we were still in warranty & paid the deposit to get our part! (We were on holiday).

I cannot praise Chris enough for his workmanship, professionalism and politeness. My boiler stopped working and I needed it looked at urgently. Chris responded to my message immediately and arranged a time convenient for myself. He messaged me twice before his arrival (night before and in the morning) to confirm the time he was arriving to keep me informed. He always arrived on time, very polite and carried out all work to a high standard. I even trusted him to stay in my property when I had to pop out. Could not Chris recommend highly enough. Will definitely use again in the future.

Combi boiler change and gas pipe upgrade

We asked Chris to provide a quote on a gas combi boiler change. He arranged a prompt visit, assessed the work and provided a quote very quickly. As part of the upgrade Chris had identified a potential issue with the gas supply pipe and gas pressure relative to the new boiler we required. Chris was very helpful in looking at options for the gas pipe upgrade and worked with us to find a route for the new pipe that would be least disruptive. He communicated very promptly at all times during the lead in to the work by text and phone and all the work was completed with skill and care to the agreed timescales. We now have an efficient new boiler, a warm house and lots of hot water on demand. Chris is a lovely man who is honest and easy to get on with. We could not recommend him more highly to anyone seeking a first class gas and heating engineer and will be using him for all future boiler servicing and related work. Thank you Chris.
