Cambridge Solar is an established solar panel and battery installation company. The company is owned and run by me, Owen Morgan. I set Cambridge Solar up in 2009 and since then we have installed 100's of high-quality solar panel systems across the UK. We install both domestic & commercial solar panel systems for both the retro-fit & the new-build markets. Me & my experienced team pride ourselves on helping our customers to find the best solution for them. I have been very fortunate to have been involved in the renewable energy industry since 1999. Before starting Cambridge Solar, I worked for several leading renewable energy companies & received a BEng from Warwick & a MSc in renewable energy from CAT in Wales

Cambridge Solar installed a 12 Solar Panel system on/in my house with monitoring through "Solar Edge". The system if performing at 118% of the suggested production of the units and the active monitoring system is superb information. A great deal of time was spent with me before the contract for the work was signed, explaining everything I needed to know about the product, including the electric production, costs and feed-in tariffs etc. All the work involved was carried out in a timely and very professional way, by very sociable people. Tidiness was excellent. I can't think of one aspect of the whole process to involve a problem.

Had a 1.8kW system install on my mid terrace house. All very last minute to get the tariff at the time before it changed! Friendly, knowlagable, considerate and kept us up to date pre install and during. Happy all round and have already recommended to others with equal success!!

New Solar PV system designed to suit roof layout, revised in line with changing market provision change, fitted and commissioned on house roof. Francois and Owen were both very helpful from the start, and worked hard to meet the deadline imposed by the tariff rate changes. The after-sales support was good as well with them attending promptly to get the positioning just right. I liked the way they were able to choose a design with PV panels in more than one 'string' to an avoid attic window shadow affecting performance of the whole system.

Owen's team installed a 12 panel, 2.82kW system, on a dual-aspect roof. The work was completed to a tight deadline, just prior to the big cut in FIT in March 2012, and was carried out with friendly professionalism by the whole team - scaffolders, installers and electrician. It has performed consistently well, thanks to the specification of a SolarEdge inverter with power optimisers on each panel. The system achieved its payback point in well under 6 years, so we are very pleased, and would highly recommend Cambridge Solar.
