My initial contact with this company was in mid May to request a quote for a new stairlift the company having been recommended to me, I was away at the time. My stairlift having broken down and been declared obsolete. I spoke directly to a Mr Ferguson the Director who was very helpful and agreed to come out for a site visit. Subsequently I managed to get a spare part which I thought might fix my stairlift and contacted Mr Ferguson about this prior to his visit and it was agreed that an engineer would come out and attempt a repair. Cut a long story short. The stairlift was repaired by a charming young chap who spent a few hours on the job drilling holes in the part etc and could not have been more helpful. I now have a working stairlift. This company and indeed Mr Ferguson could not have been more helpful and supportive. There was no high pressure sales talk just an honest desire to sort out my situation. When I eventually do need a new stairlift Candor Care will be my first choice.

I called in an emergency repair for my aunt's stairlift and spoke to a lady in the office who offered a call back from an engineer. Within 10 minutes i had a call from Mark who was really helpful and explained their charges and what they could do by way of ongoing service and a warranty. The stairlift was not installed by Candor, but they offer such a comprehensive warranty and aftercare, they should be called Can-do! Unlike Stannah who guaranteed to be out within a week Alan the engineer was there by 11am the same day as promised. He sorted the problem within 30 minutes, explained what he had done and worked tidily. It put my aunt's mind at ease knowing that Candor would look after her stairlift in future and means I have one less worry about her well-being. I can't recommend them highly enough.
