Capital Motor Company sourced spare parts for my wife's H-registered Mistubishi, took the car in for repair and serviced it, all within two days of my original telephone enquiry. The garage area is clean and well organised and the service is punctual and friendly. I learned about the garage in Which? Local and it was my first visit. I will definitely take my own car there for service and MOT when these become due.

I have used this independent garage for over 15 years. They are very efficient and helpful, not charging for a home start, and freely travelling to inspect and give advice on buying a 2nd hand car.

The person who dealt with me was very courteous. It might be a one-man band but it is quite spacious. They do MOTs while you wait. I took my car in for an oil and filter change last month. I also took in two parts IÇd obtained. Not only did the garage change the oil and filter, but without charge fitted the interruptor I had provided for my interior air circulation system which was working only on the highest setting of the fan. He also fitted the new windscreen wipers. Without being asked, he adjusted the windscreen washer sprays so they function with maximum efficiency without drowning the windscreen. He had also adjusted my tyre pressures as I had told him that I was driving down to Spain in the following few days and would be carrying a quite heavy load. All of this was done quickly and efficiently. The air circulation problem for which he did not charge cost me only GBP12 for the part. I had been quoted elsewhere GBP70.

Pulled out all the stops to get our car MoT'd when it needed new shock absobers (difficult to get but they managed it). Recommended.
