I contacted Charlie about a leak on my flat roof, he came and inspected the roof ,he was very professional and polite. We had a detailed quote and estimate for the work within a few days. We were happy to have Cardinal Roofing do the work. Billy and Jack also very professional and polite, done the job in a day, took all the rubbish away and left everything clean and tidy. The roof looks great,and with all the rain we've had recently, does not leak. I would recommend this company.

My flat garage roof, which I share with my neighbour, was leaking and due to it's age, we decided it was time to be replaced. We'd also agreed to incorporate a small section of the roof made of corrugated plastic into the rest of the roof. After receiving several quotes, we were impressed by the detailed quotation from Cardinal Roofing and the reviews they received. The price was competitive and so we agreed to proceed. I was recommended to give Charlie at Cardinal Roofing a call to solve a persistent leak on my 1980’s flat roof. He made an appointment for a site visit, for which he arrived on time and quickly impressed with his assessment of the various problems with my roof at the site. He sent a written quote offering a choice of materials and coverings, the more technical options which while relatively expensive compared to a standard felt job gave me confidence I would resolve my issues once and for all. Once access issues were resolved and a date agreed he sent a team to do the work which they completed within a day and left a clean tidy site taking all rubbish away with them. I was able to see the sub roof which was sodden and rotten before removal and re boarding so I know they did a thorough job. Have been leak free since and couldn’t recommend them highly enough.

Following a second small leak in our dormer roof I decided it was time to get the roof re-felted. I chose Cardinal Roofing for this project as they had done such a good job on my lower extension two years earlier and again I was very satisfied with the outcome. The Cardinal Roofing team were very professional and completed the job on schedule and in accordance with the quote which I thought was reasonable. I would have no hesitation in using them again.

Most recently they replaced the plastic domes on my flat roof, and as part of the job they fixed a gutter leak that I hadn't spotted, as well as carrying out repair work to the flashing of my flat roof. The first time they worked for me they replaced the flat roof. I've been very satisfied with the quality of the work, and with the careful and courteous approach of the team. Charlie is reliable and helpful. He's also flexible. When the onset of rain caused the most recent job to be split over two different days (separated by a couple of weeks), Charlie agreed to my suggestion of splitting the invoice into two halves. Cardinal roofing re-roofed and put in new gutters and gutter board (and insulation) on my flat roof over the kitchen. They did the job on time and very quickly and left a professional finish to the roof. They were tidy and very helpful. The price was good and I would be happy to recommend them. Incidentally I had a leak on a gutter to downpipe afterwards and they came over quickly to fix this and did not complain, and now it does not leak. I am very pleased with them.

Charlie Welsh and his colleagues replaced 2 areas of flat roof, adding additional insulation, and replaced cracked and missing tiles on the main pitches. Cardinal Roofing removed existing felt and box gutter and laid new felt and gutter. The company supply a detailed quote of work require and price. The work was finished to a high standard with all joints sealed. With the excessive rain we just had no leaks. The workers removed all materials and left the place tidy. This company was a very competitive and it was money well spent. This company gives a ten year warranty that is backed by independent insurance. Would certainly recommend this company.

Charlie was extremely responsive when I had a problem with my flat roof even though he was very busy and after a temporary fix only lasted for a week he went out of his way to send his team round to fix it permanently at a reasonable cost. Cardinal replaced my flat roof for me after it had been very poorly done by the original roofers. After preparing an estimate for me they came exactly on time and kept to their schedule and estimated cost. The three roofers who carried out the work were very friendly and efficient, making no mess whatsoever and leaving my house with no sign of them having been there (apart from the lovely roof!). They even came back to check on something I was worried about as soon as I contacted them (which turned out to be nothing). They did a great job at a good price and I am very happy with their work.

A useful, informative discussion with recommendations and choice; a detailed quotation; excellent communication when weather problems strike; impressive clean-up at the end of each day (you wouldn’t know they were on site). When they are on site all you will see is hard, continuous work. No food or sustenance wanted or accepted (despite our efforts) – completely “self-contained” and therefore no bother. Accommodating when I wanted to go aloft and add to the lighting wiring. Overall a very good, well thought through service and a reassuring experience. Recommended!

I called Cardinal flat Roofing and spoke to Charlie about the leak in my roof, he got one of his colleagues, Luke, on to it straight away. It took Luke all of a couple of minutes to find where the problem was. I was impressed as I was not expecting the work to be carried out straight away. Having experienced a number of small leaks over the last couple of years from joints in the felting particularly following one of the roof window installations I asked Cardinal Roofing to completely overlay my existing flat roof with a liquid-applied system. The flat roof area is quite extensive and has a number of roof windows and ventilation pipes. Despite the loss of nearly two days to rain, Cardinal Roofing completed the job as soon as the weather permitted including working on a Saturday. The end result looks great and I can see that they took particular care in dealing with the roof windows and ventilation pipes. Charlie, the boss, came around once during the process and again at the finish to check that everything was fine. Overall I was impressed by the professionalism and care and I would have no hesitation in using Cardinal Roofing again.

There were two main flat roofs on our new build house that were very shoddy and de-laminating. When Charlie's team got to work it was even worse than expected. They did a great job of rectifying the work with a completely new polymer roof coating with a very good finish. They were really helpful and accommodating and even did additional items of work without further charges. Would use Cardinal again.

We needed two new but badly built flat roofs to be made watertight. Charlie and his team did a brilliant job, dealing with the mess that our previous builders had left us in and providing a really nice finish, even round difficult parts like the large skylights in a narrow side return roof. Their attention to detail showed with the right drainage balloons in to avoid leaves blocking the pipes, and they happily came back to sort out the snagging within a week of the coating going on. Over a year and several downpours later, the roof has done exactly what they said it would and remained watertight, even when a drainage pipe the previous builders had put in got blocked. The workmen phoned me up to let me know what time they are coming, and they turned up when they said. They done the work which took about 1hr. And no leaks, no mess and and good price. How it should be.

Charlie and his team successfully repaired a leaking flat roof that had been causing a leaking through the top of the bricks and gutter box. They repaired the flat area, repointing all edges, replacing coping stones, and fixing (cutting to correct size) a number of roof tiles.
