Simple plan, simple job, fitters decided not to follow the plan and ran out of materials by putting it in a cupboard on the first first instead of the entrance on the ground floor. The chaps discovered they had laid it incorrectly when they eventually looked at the plans. Instead of admitting their own error they decided to tell staff at the shop that we had told them to change the plan when they were fitting it. Of course this was a lie, especially since neither I or my partner were there to change it. When discussing with the debuty manager at carpet right in Canterbury he said he would send us the extra materials as a "courtesy" like it was our fault. Turns out he didn't even have a copy of the plan in order to get the measurement from the area not fitted. I haven't heard from the store since. I'm very disappointed. Having used the Dover and Sittingbourne stores in the last year, I have nothing but good things to say about them and the fitters they employ. A lack of due diligence springs to mind.

All fitted with minimum of fuss. Fitters arrived promptly and worked quickly and competently. All old carpet bagged up and disposed of by the fitters and no mess left behind.

I had my hallway floorage done. He was very professional and friendly. He came to have a look at my floor and booked me in straight away. He came across as friendly, very easy to talk to. He hoovered when he was done. Left the place tidy. I would highly recommend him.

What happened: ordered for vinyl to be fitted in my bathroom, it is an old house and using advice I asked for plywood to be laid first and accepted the quote. The fitter came and I let him do his job, he did not take very long but he did not put down the plywood. Told the store and the manager visited my home. Now because the plywood was not used I did not paid for this. However, because the plywood would have protected the vinyl and with whatever the fitter glue underneath it has now come on top of the vinyl and I do have horrible brown/yellow marks everywhere on the vinyl that is, anyway put the wrong way! Asked many times for a complaint number, asked for the store manager to contact me, and not getting anywhere totally been ignored. I want for the manager to come down to look the results of a really bad job and for the vinyl to be reimbursed! I did not even get an apology and if one look on Facebook and Twitter there are so many complaints not been resolved.
