CDC Buildings

CDC buildings have carried out several works over a period 3 years. Work carried out are kitchen alterations, flooring, plastering, brick walls and roof repairs. They work as a good team, work done to a high standard, communication excellent, work to a high standard. Their time schedule is very good, they do full days work and more if the job is near the end. Once they start a job, if something has come up unexpected they will communicate to say is what's going on and we are then able to agree and sort the problem out, I would recommend CDC building as they do a very professional job.

Very pleased with the restoration of a steep bank in my garden. Craig and Brett are very helpful and reliable and have done a really good job including the clearing up. Would recommend them and certainly use them again.

Craig quoted for 2 jobs, relaying/repointing a patio & repairing/replacing part of a stable block. Unfortunately Craig was unable to carry out the jobs on the original date due to Coronavirus 'lockdown'. He kept us informed of the situation and a new date was arranged. Craig & Brett completed the jobs to the very highest standard, on time (3 days), exactly to budget and in a way that minimised disruption (cleaning up thoroughly at the end of each day). We were very pleased with the end result and will use them again for future jobs.

This review is late coming so apologies to Craig and Brett! They did a wonderful job remodeling my kitchen and hallway as well as adding a utility and shower room. Always there when they said and always ready to help when the odd problem crept up! The nicest of people you could want working in your home! The work was finished to a high standard and I’m looking forward to them revisiting to fit a new patio and sort my driveway out! Thanks for the hard work!!

Having recently moved into our new home we had several jobs needing doing but thought would have to find various tradespeople to do the work which included removal of old tiles, tiling, put new flooring down, build bespoke shelves and cupboards in lounge, painting etc etc. We were thrilled to have found Craig and son Brett who completed everything to a very high standard.Reliable, tidy, and just all round great guys to have around...we couldn't have asked for anything more..brilliant 👌👏👏

I have been working with Craig and Brett on our large building project for nearly two years. It has been an honour and a privilege to see them at work and to benefit from their professionalism and very high-quality work. Nothing has been too much trouble and they have always done what they said they would and on time. Imagine a kitchen with severely damaged ceiling, uneven badly plastered walls, the cheapest ugliest doors, warped worktops and ancient paintwork that hasn't been touched in years - the head chef (SWMBO) was not happy. We obtained a number of quotes and awarded the opportunity (headache) to Craig Cookson of Complete Building Supplies. Craig was extremely courteous, polite and professional, he put us at ease from the outset explaining "...not a problem" to anything we requested. This included making a matching cover for a gap in the cabinets below the new sink, which he matched in beautifully. Three new doors, fitted, furniture attached and painted. Ceiling plastered - like new, paintwork, beautiful and new worktops fitted without the need to remove (or replace) existing wall tiles. Would we recommend Craig and son (Bret) yes, without reservation. They're the most hard working conscientious tradesman you're ever likely to employ. I'm not accustomed to writing reviews but these guys deserve the praise, their work is exemplary, their professionalism second to none.

Craig and Brett have done a splendid job in renewing our tired ash felt driveway, with a bonded stone one. Took great care to scrape off old surface and keep the foundation layer whole. Burnt off all residues and extended the edges. The result was a really lovely driveway matching the brick of the house.

Craig Cookson estimated for the renovating of an old terraced cottage that was in a poor state. His initial estimate for the basic work was competitive, and with good recommendations from three previous customers of his we decided to give him the work. He is very knowledgeable about all aspects of building work and we had every confidence in him throughout the job. Due to the nature of the work we had to deal with issues as they appeared, with Craig estimating each as it arose, and we deciding at each step whether to implement that particular solution. Any problem was dealt with satisfactorily and he was always keen to please and do a good job. We would readily employ Craig again if the need arose and are very happy with the finished article. It was quite a challenging project which Craig and Brett his son, always working hard, completed very satisfactorily for us. They were always very tidy and diligent. The finished article looks beautiful. He has promised to stand by his work and we have every confidence that he will honestly honour that.

Craig and his team have built for us a new garden room on the exact site of an elderly large conservatory. His attention to detail, concern to keep mess to a minimum, desire to get the building we wanted was exemplary. His broad range of skills meant that he coped well with any suggestions and alterations we made and he was always clear about costs and working to budget. I have known and worked with loads of builders over my working life, Craig is without doubt the best I have seen. I would have no hesitation to using him again nor in recommending him to members of my family and friends.
