About

We are a family run business consisting of Clive and Lesley Latham and Tom Bradford.

Clive and Tom are fully qualified members of the Master Locksmiths Association and we are members of the Essex County Council's Buy with Confidence scheme (Trading Standards).

Clive had over 30 years of experience, and Tom over 20 years - so we know what we are talking about!

If you phone us, you do not get a call centre. In an emergency you will usually speak directly to the locksmith who will do the job!

We provide FREE estimates either on the phone or at your premises, and can advise on insurance approved security for your property whether private or commercial.

Tom came and saw the problem. He removed the very old lock neatly from the door. He took it to his workshop, replaced the broken spring and fitted the lock back in place. All done quickly and very efficiently and at a fair price. All in all an excellent job was done. Thank you.

Our back door lock would not open & Tom fixed it by replacing parts. He did it within the budget and came when he said he would. He was very pleasant and helpful. I would definitely call him again if I needed anything else done.

Our UPVC door fasteners had seized and we could not unlock or open it. We were advised how to stay secure until the locksmith could attend next day. The lock and fasteners were repaired and were adjusted to make the door fit better. Everything now works smoothly. The repair was carried out professionally and the entire work space was left clean and tidy. The cost was acceptable and as agreed previously. Would highly recommend and would use again.

Same day response to a broken multi point door lock. Managed to repair lock and gave great advice and guidance for future care and maintenance. Very attentive and friendly - also checked and maintained the main front door too. Excellent service, highly recommended.
