I had a new Viessman boiler plus a new immersion heater and water tank installed by Clarity Heating. This was all done very quickly and efficiently between 3-4 June 2020. After a couple of teething problems it has run smoothly these past two weeks with no problems. Although I shall not need to use it until the late Autumn an EPH Combipack remote thermostat heating control came with it. However its accompanying instructions I found limited, but there is an excellent explanation on its use in Facebook. A job well done and like everyone else I can thoroughly recommend Vince Rudgewick and his team.

Very efficient and friendly service from Clarity Heating. Boiler service, email invoice, bacs payment and certificate issued all within the same day. This is how business ought to be carried out! Clarity installed this Viessmann boiler last year along with Honeywell Evohome controls. They have been very supportive helping with overcoming any glitches in the control setup, even when caused by the writer himself!

I hired Clarity to replace my gravity fed system with a Viessmann 100-W combi boiler. Every representative of the company I dealt with at every stage was highly professional and knowledgeable. In particular, the heating engineer who performed the installation, Mark, was extremely knowledgeable, and was able to explain in detail how the job was to be done and why. The job was completed on time and to a high standard. They cleaned up afterwards and took reasonable precautions regarding COVID-19, such as maintaining distance and using a disinfectant spray on areas they had touched. Communication was another strong point. I got prompt replies whenever I asked them to get back to me, and never felt I had to chase them, which is more than I can say about some heating and plumbing companies I have dealt with. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone.

Mending combi boiler during lockdown

I'm working from home during lockdown. I woke up on Wednesday morning to find my boiler had died - no heating, no hot water. It's a complicated set-up with underfloor heating. I emailed Clarity Heating and received an email back with the hour for a provisional appointment on Friday morning. Mark turned up as booked, despite the pressures caused by limited staff in these difficult times, diagnosed the problem quickly, rectified it and showed me how to initiate this reset myself if something similar happens again. Clarity Heating are always quick, clean and efficient - and a delight to talk to as well. I now have heating as the weather has turned cold and can carry on working. Full marks.

Annual maintenance service for a Viessmann boiler

The engineer came exactly on time and completed the work efficiently and with a minimum of fuss and took time to explain some of the boiler features. The boiler area was cleaned afterwards to a high standard so job completed on schedule and the price was what had been quoted earlier. The subsequent report on the boiler was very detailed and comprehensive, much as you would get from the MOT report from a Car Main Dealer. As the work was only done last week I cannot comment on aftercare issues.

Work done: Isolate heating system electrically. Drain heating system. Cut a drain off cock into ground floor heating circuit. Replace 6 thermostatic radiator valves. Check for leaks. All work was done quickly, no mess in fact I forgot plumber was here at one point. The plumber was friendly and easy to speak to. Plumber was very aware of the Coronavirus and we kept more than 6ft apart. Plumber carried own disinfectant.

We have never used Clarity before but they were recommended by someone whose opinion we trusted. We agreed to have our boiler replaced, hot water cylinder and overhead water tanks removed. This was before the Corona virus -19 took a hold. We agreed a date and a schedule of 3 days, beforehand. Budget agreed. What made the trader stand out? The very honest but businesslike way the inspection and estimate was made, promptly followed by a very accurate quote. The 2 engineers arrived on time and on date. They proceeded efficiently, cleanly and worked hard the whole of day 1. They broke the back of the task and said it would be completed the next day. It was, but with just one man. We were consulted before they undertook difficult decisions and all the time observed the social distancing we asked for. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. I can't recommend this trader enough. 5/5.
