My boiler service was completed the same day I phoned to arrange it. The engineer was excellent, and was very organised, and tidy. She could not have been more helpful. She also was very pleasant, and my wife enjoyed having her in the house. This is the first time my wife has shown any interest in the boiler being serviced! We would ask for her by name to do any further boiler work.

Very impressed by the service and here's why: - a distinct appointment given (not an 8 am-12noon or 1-5 pm slot) - the engineer and previous ones were punctual, professional and friendly - the engineer was female (impressive!) - the job was thorough but swiftly completed

We decided to get a new boiler fitted as our old one was rather old and we didn’t want to be without heat over the winter. It was installed a couple of days after placing the order, on the days which they said. They were clean and tidy in the house and worked around our needs - working from home and a young family who needed a nap. They were a near-identical quote to other companies. They seemed to take their time with installing the boiler.

Boiler Inspection and Service

My boiler inspection and service turned out to be non-standard and required that Cadent attend twice to replace and adjust the gas guvnor. There was also some remedial work required for the boiler installation. It was August so various members of staff were preparing for holidays, on holiday or just returned. Thus anything but normal. It was refreshing that Clarity Heating always answered the phone and/ or called back. Clarity Heating had a professional, can-do attitude and at no point tried to blame me or deflect attention. They saw the job through and completed the required tasks. The work did cost more than three times the advertised cost of a standard service but that for good reason. I will definitely consider using Clarity Heating again they were friendly, approachable, appeared to do a professional job and left me with a safe and functioning boiler.

Reliable repair work on boiler

The heating engineer Mark from Clarity Heating had been about a week before to investigate why the external combination boiler was not maintaining water pressure. He fitted a new refill loop inlet valve, which was definitely needed, as the old on/off tap had broken off. After this repair, there was then a problem found with the water pressure gauge, which was not working at all. Then the water pressure relief valve was found to be leaking and there was also an air leak from the expansion vessel. We agreed that all these items needed to be replaced and probably contributed to the previous problems of maintaining adequate pressure in the system. I had been needing to top up the pressure almost every day. The parts were ordered and heating engineer James came to fit them on 9th August. He did an excellent job and the system is all working perfectly now. I'm very pleased with the standard of work carried out and recommend this heating company.

Kudos to everyone involved, this has been the smoothest and quickest contracted work I've ever had. Especially with the size of the job. All the way from the start, with capturing the exact requirements. And the professionalism and great workmanship from the gas engineers, who kept me in the loop through the entire process. No mess left behind the superb job with the internal and external piping, and very pleasant customer interaction. I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm for doing great work, and this is something I wish more companies did. Very happy with the work carried out, and will definitely recommend and use your company in the future.

Impressive Young Competent Team

Installed new Boiler (vent through roof), x2 two port zone valves, magnetic filter, de-aerator, expansion vessel, filling loop, x3 thermostatic valves, nest smart thermostat, power wash system and remove header tank/pipework from loft. Completed to agreed schedule & budget. Knowledgeable young team, with good skills. Communications good and preferred options on installation requested. Leaking radiator valve found day after hand over this was replaced straight away after a call to the office. Everything is working fine although central heating not used daily yet in summer months.
