Matthew provided a clear and coherent assessment of a woodworm infestation in our loft, and made practical and intelligent recommendations on ways to deal with this. All dealings were extremely professional and timely. The work undertaken was extremely efficient, with due care and diligence over the careful working in our home, ensuring protection and care of fixtures and fittings. We had a terrible experience with British Gas in attempting to take advantage of their "free" cavity wall insulation to deal with a damp/condensation problem in a ground floor 70's flat. BG having failed miserably at providing any solution or to install CWI we were still left with a problem in the flat. It was suggested that we obtain the services of a qualified damp specialist and Cotswold Remedial were mentioned. From the very first contact they were professional and knowledgeable and in a short time had carried out a thorough survey of the flat. On completion they contacted us by phone within a day to discuss their initial findings and in a very short time had produced a very detailed report outlining various options to deal effectively with the problem. Based on this we have now carried out the required works and the problem has been solved. As outlined by CRS cavity wall insulation would have been a waste of time and effort, in contras CRS determined the real source of the damp and determined the most cost effective way of dealing with it. It is good to know that there are still a few real professional service providers out there who know their business and do not create vague and overpriced reports.
