About
Founded in 1966, over the past 50 years, D J Harris (Plumbing and Heating) Ltd, has become one of Andover’s best known small firms. The company was originally started by Eileen and David Harris and, since their retirement in 1998, has been run by their son, Nigel, who prior to this had worked as one of the manual team for 14 years. Their premises in Plantation Road has a Showroom which includes:

I was very impressed with Harris heating. I found them very efficient ( answering my call, getting quotes, booking in the work to be done) and very reliable ( I received a text to say the engineer Paul was on his way, and he then turned up at the agreed time). The work was done to a good standard and Paul tidied up after himself, taking away all the rubbish and just leaving me to do a quick hoover afterwards. I’ve found it hard to find a good plumber in the past but would use Harris heating again.

Have used many times over 20 years and always had positive experiences. Have recently had a boiler changed. The work was carried out very efficiently by an engineer who was very capable and pleasant to have in the house. He communicated well, explaining what he was doing and left the house in a clean and tidy condition. Very satisfied in all respects!
