At KS property maintenance & building services we provide our customers with fast, quality, workmanship. It’s our company’s mission to always work to the highest possible standards and all of our tradesmen are fully-qualified and highly-trained individuals.
We provide a range of building services from plans to completion, extensions loft conversions, new builds, refurbisments and kitchen design/installation, supply and fit, or labour only, to complete project management, and we’re fully insured with public liability and employers’ insurance to work in your home or business, so our work is guaranteed.

Poor experience and residual issues 3 years later

Work by the company commenced in late 2016. The issues still outstanding 3 years later have been a constant cause of concern and cost. Although David has made trades available to come and rectify some of the issues, this has stopped. To fully rectify the build, we are facing in the region of £16,500 cost. A List of issues from original build below: * Major 001 - The rubber roof not extending to an appropriate point means that the cost cutting to overlay this to existing roof material causes this to seep underneath and leak into kitchen and over electrical points. * Major 002 - Roof lantern is leaking due to poor fitting, and wrong angle on flat roof area. * Major 003 - No matt to retain tile position on floor has caused cracking and movement. All floor needs replacing with sharp edges now exposed, and requires ALL kitchen dismantled and removed for work to commence. * Major 004 - No insulation to suspended floor * means the underfloor heating is a huge cost and is not fit for purpose. * Major 005 - Bi-fold doors poorly fitted and have areas where the seal is away. Single door does not now close without manipulation. * Significant 001 - The drainage opening from the kitchen was subject to masses of waste / rubble during build process, and has on going issues. * Significant 002 - The kitchen units have been cut with open sides down - i.e. exposed cut wood that is now warping due to floor cleaning

Graham Disappointed it’s came to this, and most of your listed problems have been rectified, So therefore a lot of lies in here & a blatant attempt to try ruin us, £16500 is a ridiculous cost especially when you offered me to pay £2500 for not to post this review via email, something I did agree to but couldn’t pay the money right away hence why we are at this stage. I’m the 1st to admit the jobs had its fair share of problems & as you said we have been back and fixed all the leaks, Last thing I want is a full blown argument but as per our email exchange I’ve always maintained we would do the work to put it right or pay the requested £2500 if given time, that offer To accept still stands.

Attic conversion. Completed to time and budget. David communicated well with us at all stages of work. Guys turned up when they said they would. Returned when work finished to fill holes in downstairs of property.

We received an excellent service from David and the team at KS Property Maintenance. Communication was excellent and a great deal of hard work, diligence and effort has created an extension and new kitchen that we are delighted with. As an owner, David is easy to get along with and assiduously endeavours to provide a quality service to customers. Gareth spent the most time on-site with the project. Along with demonstrating an excellent skill set providing the high standard of finish that has been achieved, he is also great to get along with, helpful and diligent. We will be asking KS Property Maintenance to return for any future projects.

We recently had rear extension built and kitchen window moved, carried out by KS Property. Communication throughout was excellent. All members of the team (including sub contractors) were hardworking, reliable, friendly, trustworthy, helpful, polite, respectful and excellent time keepers. The team were clean and tidy wherever possible. All work was carried out to a High Standard and any queries we had were quickly resolved. Absolutely delighted with the work carried out. We hope KS property will return for our next project. We can’t rate KS Property highly enough. First Class Team.

Overall, we were very pleased with this company. The owner, David, was friendly, helpful and responded quickly to making contact. The construction was of a high standard and the workman polite, helpful and hard working. The site was left tidy and in good order. The construction took a little longer than anticipated but this partly reflected problems with a sliding door (not of the company's doing) that was resolved and some additional work we requested. There was an unforeseen drainage problem which would not have been evident at the time of the quotation. This was an additional cost from the builder subcontractor - higher than anticipated - though the overall quotation and final cost were competitive and represented good value for the quality of the work. We would happily recommend this company

We had a complete loft conversion completed. We were very pleased with all aspects. There was excellent communication throughout and the firm's workers and sub contractors were friendly, tidy and the work completed is of a high standard.

Highly recommend - delighted with work, including final finishes. Hard-working, responsible and friendly team and sub-contractors, who took pride in their work. Mostly very tidy (our neighbours commented on how well the joiners tidied up outside!). Joiners' speed in identifying and alerting our architect to a problem with a party wall enabled a solution to be found with no delay to project timescale. A couple of times the guys didn’t pay full attention and missed detailed features of the agreed specification, but they were keen to resolve these issues to our satisfaction.

We used KS for a major house renovation. They, and the subcontractors they use, are polite, friendly and attentive. The quality of the completed work is outstanding. It is way better than we hoped for & we had very high expectations. We will be using again next year for an extension.
