About
I have over 30 years experience in telecommunications, starting out as an apprentice with BT, and I have been a freelance engineer for over 20 years.
I carry out all types of domestic and business telecoms-related work:
- Tracing and rectifying faults, especially broadband problems and wifi coverage issues
- Moving lines and sockets, renewing, re-routing, tidying or removing wiring during home renovation, window replacement etc.
- Installation of Cat 5e and Cat 6 network cabling
- Installation of additional telephone points
- Installation and maintenance of Panasonic telephone systems

My internet has been down and there was a 2 week wait for a BT engineer. Mr Williamson was able to come the same day. He was polite, personable and informative. He checked all connections and changed my extension socket to a modern one. Charged as quoted and made no charge for the new socket. He has gone in my book of good tradesmen and would recommend him to anyone

After accidently removing an unused a phone socket whilst decorating which caused us to loose our phone line (& internet) we searched locally for an Engineer to help and found David. We rang him and he arranged to come out the next day, quoting a price upfront. He arrived on time, identified, solved & fixed the problem in a very professional, helpful & timely way. He was very knowledgeable, efficient & professional. In the current climate David arrived with a face mask & gloves which he kept on throughout the work from entering our property until leaving. We would highly recommend David & not hesitate in using him again.
