About

Dial an MOT was set up over Twenty Five years ago to provide a much needed service for the busy person.

We specialise in class 4 MOT testing for Southampton and surrounding areas. We have noticed that some people are intimidated by bringing their cars to garages and feel uneasy about the whole experience. This is one of the reasons why we decided to collect the vehicles for their MOT free of charge within a fifteen mile radius of our workshop. This convenient service has proven very popular with customers from all walks of life.
We are the original and best FREE collection and delivery service in the area.

We can collect from your home or workplace and the service usually takes about three hours from collection to return of a completed job (providing the car doesn't need much work.) The service is obviously subject to availability but the lead time is usually next day or sooner. We also provide free collection and delivery for servicing and repairs if these cannot be completed at the same time.

Our car needed urgent work on Friday before a 3 day bank holiday. Dial an MOT diagnosed the fault, got the parts & did the repair the same day for us, knowing we would be stuck without it the whole weekend. Via a recommendation From a friend I took my Subaru up to Southampton - DIAL AN MOT. Kevin was very helpful with my issue, a very quick diagnosis was reached by himself and his son after a few alleys were explored. Having now fixed the issue, the car is working perfectly... 5***** all the way... Very friendly staff and even a customer waiting area! Will definitely be back !! Thanks again

My vehicle was booked in for Full service and MOT the car was collected from my Work place which was great and hassle free also free of charge! They carried out all the work required that day once completed they phoned me up to let me know the vehicle was done and that it was on its way back to me, I payed there and then over the phone, my car then arrived back at my work ready for me to go home. Overall I was incredibly impressed with the whole service! Booking my car in was a doddle, the whole quality of service meant I had no hassle, and the price was very competatve. The staff I encountered where very professional and welcoming, Very recommended!

MOT'd a car and did some repairs. I rang at last minute after forgetting the MOT, and they booked it in for same day. The work done very quickly & efficiently. I always take all my family cars there.

Kevin has done lots of work for me over the last 8 years including MOTs, services and valets. I am always extremely happy with their work and constantly recommend them. I wouldnt't use anyone else. Their customer service is fantasticand I never ever have any problems or complaints.

Kevin has done general car work and maintainance for me inlcuding services and MOTs. I would never take my car anywhere else, and neither would the rest of my family! Their customer service is 10/10, they pick the car up for me and bring it back when it's done. They provide much better work than a lot of main dealers, for a much better price and they do it much more efficiently. I've never had any problems, they are fantastic.
