Damp proof and mould eradication

I had a couple of areas of damp/. Mould in the house, one in my son's room and one in our bedroom, Matthew was professional and completed the job, to both treat and prevent any future issues, in my son's room to a high standard. He was extremely thorough in investigating what could be causing the problem in our room which was more of an unknown and once the root cause was identified provided advice and an action plan to rectify the issue, he also treated the area to provide us some time to complete the issues on the roof. I was very pleased with the work done and the service he offered and would recommend highly.

We have an unheated porch which used to get very cold in the winter. It suffered terribly from mould and condensation. In 2023, Mat from District Damp & WaterProofing, removed the old ceiling, added new insulation, filled all the gaps, replaced the ceiling and re-plastered, all in one day. This was a massive improvement. In June 2024, Mat alerted us to a new product called ISOtherm board. Mat was able to fix the new board to the inside of the exterior walls of the porch, and he re-plastered, all in two days, with minimal inconvenience. So far, in the winter of 2024/25, we have had no damp or mould at all. The problem has been completely solved. An excellent job all round, and it has made a huge difference to us.

Prior to moving into my new home I had Mat come round and perform a damp and timber survey. I was concerned about a patch of damp on the wall but also wanted a general survey of the property.
