Edinburgh Quality Builders Ltd t/a EQB Roofing

About 4 years ago we had a complicated roof leak that quite a few contractors came to look at but could not solve. Someone recommended EQB to us and they were amazing. They spent lots of time investigating the issue, which was greatly appreciated, then sorted it out for us. We were very very happy with their service, and since then have made sure that they are the people we choose to take care of our roof. Richard is amazing, I would say his approach to work is the most professional I have ever dealt with in my life. As a company they are more pricey than most compared to other quotes, but from the onset we have had no problems whatsoever. They are very careful, punctual and leave us with no need to worry about anything. I am prepared to pay more for them just to be sure the job is properly done. It can be difficult to find a decent tradesman nowadays so I am really happy to have found them and be able to recommend them.

I had a new garage roof in 2011 and when I noticed a damp patch a couple of weeks ago I had no idea if I had a guarantee on this. I rang Richard who was very honest and said that the guarantee was in date, meaning that the work that needed to be done was completely free of charge. They are excellent workmen and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.

They re-roofed the flat roof on the side of our house, they also installed solar lights into our study. They're so good that you'd think you'd left the electric light on! They also did a chimney repair for us. They do such a great job, and are great at responding to us. They take photos so we can even see the change before and after they've done!
