Should be your go-to electrician in these troubling times
I have already given this company a positive review before for quality and price. So to concentrate on my title, I had a job done on Friday. I am self-isolating and was debating whether to cancel. I am so impressed. Sam arrived, was understanding of my situation, wore rubber gloves, washed his hands (several times), kept a good distance from me. Highly recommended.

James was quick to respond to our initial enquiry and helpful in advising on appropriate replacement lamp options for two rooms in our house that had different requirements. His team were punctual, friendly and professional as they completed the job. The installation turned out to be complicated by the position of a couple of structural beams above the ceiling but we were quickly notified and explained our options allowing us to make a decision that the team could complete during the same visit.

Sammi effectively solved the problem of what we thought was a faulty light fitting. He worked out it was the type of spot bulbs we were using rather than the fitting - and it worked! The problem had defeated two electricians before him, and he saved us a lot of money as we had been advised to change all 4 fittings on the circuit. He was polite, efficient and very knowledgeable.

Quite a find after some of the traders I have encountered. I rang about a problem I had with a light fitting, and was able to make an appointment for only a couple of days away. Sam arrived right on time, was polite, explained exactly what he was doing and why, found the problem (which wasn't anything I had expected), and worked very efficiently. The pricing was clear and good value. I was so impressed I asked for a quote for another larger job and Sam came back to do that as well.

Very prompt service as the firm sent an electrician round the day after I contacted them, he had the replacement light switch with him, I did not have to wait for it to be purchased; and he fitted it in about 5 minutes. Efficient and courteous, will continue to use this firm.

I selected Electec based on their reviews here and they lived up to their 5 star rating. I used them for re-routing interior lighting and socket replacement. Quick response and quote. Were clear about what they thought was routine and what items were hard to predict until opened up. Experience showed as they worked around some unexpected problems. All work done promptly.
