We cannot recommend Frappell & Knight highly enough. Very prompt quote provided for replacement of our external oil-fired combi boiler plus installation of new water softer. Kevin was so helpful and kindly fitted us into his incredibly busy schedule really quickly as our old boiler had stopped working. Lee who fitted the boiler was amazing, so friendly and polite and his work ethic was fantastic. He was really knowledgeable and worked so neatly and efficiently. Thank you both so much for everything, would not hesitate to recommend this company and we will certainly be using them going forward for the additional work we need as part of our renovation project.

Top service from professionals who understand the requirements for the safe and proper installation of an unvented hot water tank system. Frappell & Knight came to the rescue after I was unlucky to have a system installed by an incompetent plumber who left joints unconnected and the system incorrectly piped with potentially dangerous consequences. Our kitchen was flooded. Frappell & Knight completely re-piped the unvented cylinder and correctly installed the pressure relief pipe system and replaced incorrectly installed valves with an S-plan and auto bypass valve. They will now register the cylinder with Building Control. All this should have been done by the first so-called "Heating Engineer". The bill was very fair. I can now leave the house confident that the plumbing work has been properly done. My recommendation of Frappell and Knight Ltd is unreserved 5*.

With age-related leaks from underfloor pipe work of 35 years ago we were faced with a complete repiping operation. We were not looking forward to this. Frappell and Knight undertook the job, and two installers worked quickly and efficiently to get the job completed to a high standard. They respected Covid 19 norms to protect themselves and us, the job was completed with the minimum of disruption - and everything was left neat and tidy, apart from tidying up a stack of our suitcases stored in the loft. Getting this organised during a freezing cold January entailed a series of phone calls and I must take issue with another of the F and K customers; I found the lady at the other end of the phone knew what I was talking about and was as helpful as possible. Thanks Frappell and Knight for a job well done.

My wife and I are pensioners we called this company on Monday morning to ask them to attend to our boiler having seen the glowing reviews on this site. I was told an engineers called Jay would contact me. Three days later I am still waiting! This is unacceptable customer service. I have telephoned them twice more since then only to be told they are very busy! This is the second time I have tried using a company on the Which trusted trader scheme. Both time they have been less than satisfactory. Seems like a pointless website.

I have had cause to use Frappell & Knight Ltd on a number of occasions and the engineers work is of a good standard. I would however like to highlight the very curt, borderline rude way in which the lady whoever takes the calls at Frappell & Knight operates. Every time I have called I have noticed this but I let it go as a neighbour highly recommended them. But I have decided that I am not prepared to be treated as if they are doing me a favour. Companies exist because of one thing. The Customer. We are not an inconvenience. We are the sole reason you exist and this is a fundamental point that anyone in business must remain cognisant of. In future I will be using one of the dozens of other competitors in the area.

When our boiler started to leak and had reached the end of its life, Andy came and sorted out the mess and drained the system. We were away when he came and installed a new condensing boiler so we missed the actual work but when we came home the house was warm, the water hot and everything clean and tidy (not even electricians little leavings). The installation was a good job, neat pipework and clean joints. He even came round in an evening to make sure we were happy with the controls and reprogrammed the times to suit us. First Class service and a First Class Job.
