Tom Furlonger was really helpful. A neighbour recommended him. I had been worried about a tree in my garden for a while. I contacted his office and they gave me a date and time when he would come round. He came round when promised and did me an assessment of all 4 of my trees and did not charge me for this. He explained in detail why the particular tree was not a concern. If I do get to the stage where I need work done I will certainly use Tom Furlonger.

As a result of severe winds in West London in early July, some big branches of my 80-foot tall leylandii tree in the back garden snapped and were dangling dangerously over my and next-door neighbour's gardens. Based on the reviews from Which I contacted Furlonger Tree Services, sent photos of the tree, received a prompt quotation from Tom and Fiona and on 15th July the Furlonger team came and completed the job. Three of our long hedges, a beech, a conifer and a mixed hedge, needed to be reduced in height by approximately five feet. Consequently, I contacted Tom at Furlonger Tree Services who visited my home and gave me a written quotation within a couple of days; a date to carry out the works in two weeks time was agreed. On the agreed date, a Furlonger team of five, two lorries and a wood chipper arrived on time at 8.00am. After performing a risk assessment, the team carried out the works professionally and methodically in a cheerful and polite way in sweltering heat. The works were completed by 4.30pm; I was most impressed with the Finnished result and with the way my garden was left in a clean and tidy condition. I would definitely use Furlonger Tree Services again and would recommend them to others without hesitation.

We have hired Furlonger Tree Services several times before to prune our wisteria and they always carry out the work with consideration for both the plant itself and the appearance for us ,wisteria can be so easily damaged when not pruned correctly .

This is the second time I have used Furlonger's and I shall definitely use them again. This time it was for pruning an old apple tree. As before, the work was completed efficiently and with an eye to the aesthetics. Josh and the team were polite, courteous and hard working, and the garden was left clean and tidy afterwards. The work spanned two days with a day off in between and I was updated with a confirmation of their arrival time in advance for day two. At all times the office was friendly and helpful. I have more work for them next year and look forward to using them again.

This is the third time we have used this company and, as before, we have been very happy with their work. They repollarded a large eucalyptus tree and reduced in size a number of other trees in our garden. The very friendly team always had eye to the aesthetics as well as working very hard and leaving everything tidy. We would certainly use them again.

Overall, I am delighted with the work. The preceding organisation/admin was a bit chaotic - a duplicated visit to assess and provide a quote; a couple of false starts to get the work done. They could do with having one main point of contact for admin/bookings. Once the team were onsite, they worked very hard all day and very well as a team. They were happy to complete the job to my specifications by the end of the day - I clarified that I wanted some sections lower than they were trimming and they resolved that immediately. They were very pleasant and efficient at clearing away as they completed each section of hedge. I would definitely call on them again.

The team turned up on time and got on as pre-arranged while I finished some meetings. They worked hard all day finishing up only after all the jobs were done and cleaned up. The result was to an excellent standard and they communicated at every point to confirm when there were choices. They even coordinated with the next door house to gain access and clean up in a courteous manner. The team were all friendly, professional and hard working. Job was completed and to a high standard and good value for a long days work. From initial contact to quote to completion this has been a good experience and I can recommend Tom and team for any jobs you may have.
