I visited Green Garage for a major service that was over due for a number of years . My car had a number of issues over the last few years. Green quoted me a transparent price for the full service in line with other garages and i decided to have a number of other issues fixed (headlamp bulb changed, oil leak, play in steering). I left the car and received a transparent quote for the remaining work and agreed for the work to go ahead. Green sent me an update quote having found two nails in separate tyres - i was planing a motorway journey the next day so was grateful they picked this up! On picking up the car i was told one of the tyres didn't need repair as the nail was not embedded and my bill was revised down. The car drives amazingly and i am really happy to recommend these pros!

We have been using Green Garage for many years, through three different VW cars, for MOTs and regular servicing as well as for any problems. They are always friendly, reliable, quick to respond, and efficient. We know our vehicle is in safe hands and we will be alerted if anything needs attention. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

We have used Green Garage for many years and multiple VWs, in fact they are the main reason we have stuck with VW cars. They have always been helpful, friendly and responsive, making space available if we need something done urgently, advising appropriately including telling us when things did not need to be done and guiding us when considering changing cars. A real local asset!

I have used Green Garage for a number of years and find Keith, Danny and Lloyd three of the most trustworthy mechanics I have ever dealt with. I have always found them extremely pleasant to deal with and they will always find a reasonable and satisfactory solution. In this instance the passenger car window had been smashed. I called Green Garage and within 24 hours they had ordered the new window and fixed it. They were also kind enough to allow me to leave the car on their forecourt, prior to carrying out the works, for safety of the car. I really can't recommend this team enough.

Had issues with my Ad Blue on Audi A5. Car was not drivable but Keith and his team managed to source the parts and fix immediately. Very good service and communication and would recommend to anyone with an Audi.

Green Garage fixed a few minor things on my car (headlight, windscreen wiper) and made a more complicated repair to my catalytic convertor. I was impressed by their ability to take in my car at relatively short notice (a couple of days), their honest communication and their speed at doing the work to my car. Thanks.

I broke down in my Ford Focus, and it turned out my battery had died. Being a lady it's sometimes quite difficult to feel confident in a garage but the guys here are respectful and kind. I am newish to the area and not having found a garage yet I wandered into a motorbike garage nr my home who advised I checked out this garage. I found Green Garage where Danny was excellent! Even though they don't specialise in Ford's Danny was still happy to help me. I tried to explain what I thought was the issue but I was a little distressed and worried about trusting a garage as I was nervous having had a bad experience with a local garage a week ago. But without even blinking Danny grabbed his jumper and leads and offered to take me to my car to see if it would start. We went to my car and he started it. He then offered to follow me back to the garage so he could properly test the battery! He checked it over using a testing machine showing and explaining to me every step of the way what he was doing and then gave me a ticket that showed the battery needed replacing. He then ordered a new battery for me and fitted it for a very good price. Very fast, efficient and kind. I am so happy I have now found a garage I can trust and feel safe with.. thank you Danny for your time and for making me feel welcome and comfortable. I will be passing this company on to all my friends.

I am so pleased to have taken my car to Greens Garage. It’s had major work and maintenance too. All the staff are so approachable, knowledgable and professional. I am a VW enthusiast and really appreciate the qualities of this garage having been disappointed like many by VW dealerships. My particular thanks to Keith and his team Danny and Loyd. My car runs as good as new with peace of mind and good value for money. Work is reasonably priced. I would strongly recommend this garage to anyone who has a classic VW ( I’ve got a mk1 golf as well as a Clubsport Ed 40) and even other marques.

Green Garage solved a problem with my Passat automatic gearbox that 3 other garages failed to even diagnose properly. Saved me a potentially huge amount of money as other mechanics kept talking of the possibility of a write off. Really good communications also.

I cannot sing the praises of VW Green Garage highly enough. Green Garage is a rare example of an extremely experienced, trustworthy, and utterly honest garage. As far as my experience of their work and business ethics are concerned, I can only recommend them in the highest possible terms. I didn’t think that motor mechanics like this existed anymore. I will never, ever use an Audi Main Dealer again. My eight years’ experience of owning an A6 has shown that Main Dealers are invariably slow, inaccurate, frequently incompetent and extremely expensive. In my opinion, the only reason to use an Audi Main Dealer is if your car is under the manufacturer’s warranty - even then, get Green Garage to give you a second opinion!

I have had my car serviced and MOT'd at Green Garage since 2001 and my previous car since 1980 and have always been totally satisfied with all servicing. Nothing ever has been missed in the work completed and always in a very reasonable time. I have further had the best advice in how to run my car. Moreover it has without exception turned out an advantage to me. Keith has taken great trouble in his explanations, always showing me the worn parts to explain how and why they needed to be replaced.

Keith and Lloyd at Green Garage were fantastic. I needed substantial work done to my Golf. They assessed the car, researched the parts required, explained all the parts and labour costs, and helped co-ordinate body work with the workshop next door to them. They work was of high standard and Keith has been excellent in providing further advice and guidance. Good, fast and honest I am happy to recommend them.

Small repairs done to my tires. Charges were completely fair and transparent. They were extremely reliable with their timings and just nice guys overall. Very happy with the service I received and would not hesitate to return

I started to experience engine issues. Could you believe an approved VW service centre couldn’t get to the bottom of the problem, especially knowing that they had all the technical equipment at hand?!! Anyways I was almost on the verge of scrapping the vehicle until I had a lightbulb moment and scoured the internet and immediately came across the Green Garage. I gave them a call and took the car down the very next day and within hours they called me back to inform me that they had carried out numerous engine checks and reasons for experiencing the cause of the engine problems...having diagnosed the actual faults, they gave me very fair and reasonable costings on what work will need to be done to remedy and resolve my ongoing engine issues. I picked up the car a couple of days later and trust me the car had never felt so new and responsive as it had done in the past, even after an ‘Approved Dealership Service!!’ I drove to Milton Keynes that very same day and the car handled extremely well on the M1... Responsive, smooth, no more fuel excessively burning rich smell within the cabin either and no more erratic engine idle problems. An all-round Stella job! I will definitely recommend this garage to any VW Audi owner, and I will always return for as long as I have a VW in my possession. I have been using Green Garages under Keith’s care for at least 25 years. Work has always been done to a high standard, predicted times adhered to, and charges modest and fair. Customer care by Keith and his colleagues is very considerate and helpful as well as efficient, which I have greatly appreciated, not least as I have a minor disability and I drive adapted cars. Green Garage’s care is certainly an element in my Volkswagen’s flourishing for 19 years, and now I am very happy with the care of my much younger Skoda. Totally grateful and happy customer.

Keith & Danny are brilliant problem solvers and excellent mechanics. We've been bringing our VWs and even an ancient Mercedes G-Wagon here at one time for servicing and repairs for 15 years. We wouldn't go anywhere else. They are also lovely helpful and kind people.

I recommend Green Garage who replaced both front lower rear wishbone bushes in the agreed schedule and budget returning my car in a clean state. It even seemed to be quieter. The personnel were very friendly and submitted a detailed cost of work carried out the amount of which was very reasonable.

We always took our VW T4 to Green Garage for servicing. When we bought a newer T5 we thought it would be worth using VW to get the official stamps in the service history. When we had a problem with the DPF, VW said it needed replacing with a price north of £2k. We took the van to Keith for a second opinion who checked the DPF, found nothing wrong with it and reset the computer. Problem solved for less than 10% of the quote from VW We will be taking the van to Green Garage for servicing and repairs from now on because of their competent, honest service and repairs, and customer care.

Green garage have done an excellent job on my car. As i was about to give up after taking my car to different mechanics and spending endlessly, I finally had hope when I spoke with Keith. He knows his stuff and I would say he is one of the best mechanics i have met so far.

I always receive efficient, specialised work on my VW, and good advice whenever I have a query. The service is considerate and very pleasant. I have known and liked this service provider and its proprietor for many years.

It probably means we won't be back to Green Garage for a while but I would like to say thanks to the guys at Green Garage for all their help over the last four or five years. These guys were straightforward, honest and open about the work being done, required or recommended.
