I have had a new boiler installed by HFB today and felt the need to review my experience. From discussions with Alex at HFB he guided me through the process expertly, thanks Alex. Here I am one week later with a new boiler fitted by Rob (in Newcastle) He worked diligently all morning and kept me informed of the progress. Rob laid dust sheets where he was working leaving the place clean and tidy, thanks Rob, great job. The service I received from HFB was first class and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

I was very pleased with the service I received to replace our boiler. The sales and technical staff were helpful and after getting other quotes HFB were best value. Only negative experience was after finalising the installation and being told it would be within 5 days by the sales team the installation team said it wouldn't be for 2 weeks as it needed 2 installers. The day before the install I was told the boiler I had paid for was not available as it wasn't in stock HFB offered a upgrade at no extra cost. The installer was friendly and helpful.

Boiler went just after Christmas, all radiators worked before this and the kitchens hot water was fantastic. After the new one was fitted all water pressure dropped, my sons radiator does not work and the kitchens water varies in temperature from lukewarm to just about hot, I told them this they sent an engineer, he wrote a report, and said they were not prepared to do any more.

This was my first experience with Hassle Free Boilers. The purchase and the delivery were all stress free as the cost was less than the quotes I had from other providers. The delivery was arranged at my convenience and was at the time arranged. The installation was carried out at the time agreed by a competent, pleasant engineer. He also cleaned everything in the end and took away all the waste. All in all, a superb service.

So these guys quote for the boiler and fit it. On the day, I am stiffed for an extra £80.00 for some special flue that is needed. Problem is that they didn't fit it, just fitted a standard flue - and you or they are welcome to visit and check/ inspect. Wonder how many times that special flue will be sold on. A bit later, the pressure keeps dropping in the central heating. They visit and can't or won't fix it. I have to pay a separate plumber £360.00 parts and labour to repair it. He tells me that, with a new boiler, this was always going to happen and they really should have included it in the work. That's a price swing of £440.00. I await their comment.

Good experience from the onset - good advice and guidance from the team before purchase, and a very positive, friendly and professional gas engineer to fit the new boiler in a day. No mean feat in a four storey house. And...no sharp intakes of breath when he saw what he had to deal with! The only slight downside was that the engineer was a bit confused about the settings on the wireless timer/thermometer, so I have said to the company that it would make sense that they ensure all engineers are fully versed in understanding all the settings on these remote timers so they can tell the customer clearly what to do.

Read mixed reviews about HFB so was very nervous about the installation. Not only did they give us the best quote, the engineer was fast and knowledgeable, polite and friendly. We have had zero issues with the installation or with the boiler since. Would 100% recommend!!

Absolutely excellent service from enquiry to booking to fitting. Such an efficient service from survey team to engineer. On the day of fitting the engineer, Neil Morgan was here at the arranged time and I have to say his workman ship was of the highest quality from neat pipe work, inside and out the thermostat was fitted to my wall as I asked. excellent service special thanks to Neil.
