What a great company. Whilst they were working, they kept us informed with what they were doing & found, with recommendations on our old electrical system. Which was helpful. They were curtious and respectful to both our home and us. Will definitely use they again & recommend them.

Helsdown Electrical Contractors Ltd. were recommended to us by a close personal friend. The work started with a full and thorough check of our entire house some of which was built in the sixties. There is also an extension completed in 2000. Faults and recommendations were found in both areas so a lot of work was needed to bring it all up to standard. The electrician was very thorough, very knowledgeable and very personable. The work completed was Test Report, Install New Consumer units, New lights and new circuits getting us ready for the installation of solar panels. When the solar panel installation was brought forward, Helsdown responded and managed to complete what was needed in time.

They provided clear, timely, competitive quotes and carried out the works quickly, efficiently and, critically, to the letter of the latest standards - a non-negotiable when it comes to electrical works. Communication was always top-notch with George highly responsive and reactive. They were also flexible when it came to suggesting workable solutions to issues or future-proofing the works for house extensions. I chose Helsdown due to the reviews that had been posted on other forums and I was not disappointed. We are a large primary school and had had a distribution board flagged in a recent inspection. Helsdown came out to survey the work and provided clear concise advice about the steps we needed to take. The quote was reasonable and detailed and we felt confident that we were in good hands. The works were completed in the timescale given and George and his team were a delight to work with. I would definitely use again and recommend them.

Helsdown Electricals were brilliant and I would return to them as a customer. They have high standards of work and might not be the cheapest but are good value for excellent work. They rewired all the lighting in our house and installed a new consumer unit. They were very friendly and helpful and explained in easily understandable terms what the things which needed to be fixed and why. They have a clear initial quote which they met. For additional items (e.g. we added some extra down lights) they quoted on additional costs so we could make informed decisions if we wanted to proceed. Did a very thorough job and tidied up and hoovered at the end of each day meaning we could carry on living there even though rewiring is naturally a messy job.
