Ray was quick to respond to my enquiry and to quote. I wanted a flat (un-insulated) roof in a small utility area to be insulated. Ray warned me that I may not feel much benefit from having this work done, given its location etc. and I really appreciated his frank and honest opinion. However, I decided to take the risk and to go ahead and the guys who did the job worked hard, cleaned up well and the end product looks very good indeed. I must now wait for winter to see if Ray was right! Despite this I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Ray and his team to anyone wanting this type of work done.

Recently had the fascias, soffits, guttering and drainpipes replaced on our detached property. We were very impressed with the customer service received. The quote was provided quickly, as promised and the staff carrying out the work arrived early, did a full days work, were friendly and professional. They left our property tidy and clean every day and ensured that the scaffolding was removed quickly. We are delighted with the work and have no hesitation to recommending this company.

Found HomeFront via Which? Trusted Traders. Read the reviews, was impressed with information on HomeFront web-site. Good communications with me whilst job was in progress. All the fascias, soffits and guttering replaced on an end-terraced house, including the gable wall fascias. There is a small outbuilding with a flat roof attached to the house, the flat roof was in a very poor condition so had it replaced at the same time. All work completed within time-span given. Would I use them again? YES.

I contacted Ray after reading the very good reviews on Which? Trusted Traders. I sent him (and 2 other professionals) a photo of the rear of the house showing the work required: replacing the over 100 year old barge-boards, which had seen better days! Ray and another Which? Recommended trader replied very quickly, but the third one never did, which I found surprising. His quote seemed very reasonable and the description of the work, in a few words, totally adequate. So, I asked him to do the work. Ray came to the house to see the work involved de visu and confirmed it was straightforward. The work was slightly delayed due to adverse weather conditions, but Ray kept me informed of the situation by texts and calls. The job itself was done in no time at all: an hour! I couldn’t believe it! The 2 workmen who came were obviously very experienced and the fact that the old barge-boards were already coming apart from the wall, probably helped! They did a very neat job. Everyone was very polite and friendly and it has been a pleasure to deal with Ray: always courteous, efficient and easily contactable via texts, emails or calls. The only thing which could be improved on is the tidiness! The workmen did take away the old wood, but left behind quite a few debris in the alleyway and on the scaffolding boards. As I was worried that, when removing the boards, the debris would end up clogging up the gutters, the scaffolders very kindly helped and brushed them away, but it wasn’t their job!

Found this company via an online search and was impressed with previous customer reviews. Ray was true to his word and called to make an appointment within the hour. He was a pleasure to deal with and highly professional and put me at my ease about the work that he advised was required. I have other building works ongoing at the moment and he was willing and able to accommodate us with regard to the timing, which was a great help. Job was completed as promised within the time-frame. Very satisfied customer.

I approached this company having seen their work on my neighbour's house. Owner visited very quickly after my phone call and sent a quote at the weekend as promised. Three workmen came who worked hard all day and achieved a high standard of work and finish. Included all fascias, soffits, barge boards, gutters, all downpipes including a new hopper etc to collect the bath room wastes. Removed deteriorating asbestos sheeting from my garage roof, strengthened the rafters and replaced with decking and felt. The men kept me informed at all stages and were quick to check thoughts with me about different aspects of the work. The men arrived early every day. Highly recommend the owner and his staff.

Took some time finding this company to replace my guttering. I based my decision mainly on the reviews I found on-line. I was not disappointed although I was suspicious to start with. Homefront's web site said they tried to reply to emailed enquiries usually within one hour (we all know that tradesmen never do that, don't we?) Except Homefront did reply within the hour!! They came round, gave us sound advice, a fair quote for the work required and a date to start. The workmen came on time and were obviously keen about their work and answered all our questions. On a rough day for weather they persevered and we were rewarded with a first rate job. They also cleaned up after them and left the site spotless. The guys were polite and helpful and when supplied with cups of tea kept going all day without stopping. All in all a good experience and I highly recommend this company.

The price was as agreed and very reasonable and the work carried out on time shortly afterward. The results are excellent, better than anticipated, improving the entire upstairs area of my property. All debris was removed and extreme care taken with the use of dust sheets. All in all a very impressive company that I had taken a chance with, when I had no personal knowledge of their work. Highly recommended.
