Served apprenticeship with SWEB 1979-83 and then employed as Approved Electrician working in various departments including electrical contracting, street lighting, appliance deliveries.
Left SWEB to become self-employed and established "Household Electrics" in September 1995
A member of the NICEIC as both an Approved Contractor and a Domestic Installer. Also part of the "Buy With Confidence" operated by Trading Standards since 2011
I have concentrated as the company name suggests on the domestic market and have experience in all aspects of electrical installation from rewiring properties complete, upgrading consumer units (fuse box), installing extra sockets / lights, outside decorative lighting installations, outside sockets, in fact all domestic wiring needs are catered for.
I have the relevant City & Guilds qualifications including C&G 2391 enabling me to produce EICR's (Electrical Installation Condition Reports) for homeowners, landlords, letting agents, potential home purchasers etc
