During the initial lockdown our Smoke Alarms needed renewing. It was difficult to get hold of an electrician to replace them. I left a message on John Maybury's number and he responded immediately. We arranged a day for the job, and I asked if he and his colleagues were willing to wear face-masks (it wasn't generally recommended at that point). This was no problem. A chap called Dev turned up to do the job after I'd purchased the alarms and he was straight onto the work, fully-masked. It's not a job I'd do myself so I was more than happy that Dev came to do it. He was professional, tidy, and friendly

A couple of weeks ago, John Maybury and his team ( tall Mike, stocky Dev and young Tom ) completely rewired our house in just 5 working days - ours is a semi-detached house with 2 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom, bathroom and toilet upstairs + 2 reception rooms and a long kitchen downstairs. They made the minimum of mess, tidied up each day and arranged the work so that we did not have to move out and we always had power in the evenings. My wife and I have no qualms at all about recommending John and his team - and John himself is a decent bloke and very approachable.

We had a partial re-wire and new electric cooker circuit fitted. They came when they said they would, did what we agreed at the price quoted and kept the disruption to a minimum. Excellent job, would definitely recommend.

John and his team carried out a partial re-wire and installed a new consumer unit in my Dorma Bungalow. The service throughout was exceptional. John was very clear regarding the extent of the work and what was involved. The guys turned up punctually each day, there was minimal disruption and they tidied up at the end of each day. I have no hesitation in recommending.

I was supplied with the name of J Maybury & Sons Ltd when I called Trusted Traders needing an electrician who could deal with a junction box. Mr Maybury contacted me quickly after I left a contact number on his answer phone. He responded fast to look at problem and gave a good competive price. He advised he was busy at moment but would ring as soon as free. At a convenient time to both he attended and the job was done quickly, efficiently and to my complete satisfaction. I would have no hesitation to recommend him to anyone else who had a large electric job that needed completing.

John and his team were brilliant. They did a really good job. John answered all of my questions and let me know what to expect. I knew that a rewire would be a major job, but the work was carried out with the least possible inconvenience to me and they cleaned up after themselves every day. John's attention to detail with the re-plastering was impressive - a real professional. Equally impressive was the courtesy that everybody showed during the work. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending J. Maybury and Sons Ltd and will most certainly use this company for any future jobs.
