Just wanted to say that Jason the engineer booked to look at my Samsung American Fridge Freezer today, he turned up in the allotted time slot we were given, with a courtesy call confirming his ETA 20 mins prior to the visit. He was extremely personable and polite, very knowledgeable about the product, highly professional and methodical, fantastic customer service skills and most importantly diagnosed the fault quickly to a US P.S.U had a spare part in his vehicle which he immediately fitted and put our appliance back in service on the same call out. I’m extremely pleased with the service I’ve received from this engineer and JPR Digital, that I wouldn’t hesitate in using them again and would recommend them to anyone I speak to that needs their repair service, excellent, well done JPR and Jason 👍😃

I booked a repair service through Samsung as my out of warranty American style fridge freezer started chiming intermittently, though working (cooling) well. Their authorised repair centre JPR Digital sent an engineer, who wasn’t able to witness the fault (as I said, the beeping starts and stops at irregular intervals) but said the freezer was probably overloaded and the door didn’t close well, recommended emptying it a little and was happy to send an invoice for £108 for this invaluable advice. As the chiming didn’t stop even after removing the shelves, I booked another appointment. This time we took a video of the chiming and the front display. When the engineer came back, the fridge was again silent but we were able to show the video. Just looking at the video and WITHOUT DOING ANY OTHER CHECKS AT ALL, this time the engineer said the PCB was gone but as the part was not available any longer, we basically need a new fridge. JPR Digital were very unwilling to give me the part number but after a long argument they did and it’s actually readily available on the secondary market, though maybe not directly from Samsung. It seems Samsung (and by proxy, their engineers) is only interested in selling you new products and not repairing the older ones, which is horrible for the environment - so much for planned obsolescence! Do not book any repair services with them beyond the warranty period - you’ll pay a call out charge and get no fix!

We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed by the fact your appliance could not be repaired. Sadly on rare occasion this is the case. Your fridge had an intermittent fault, so as I am sure you can appreciate these types of faults are not easy to identify. When the engineer came back on the second visit and saw the video he could identify that this was indeed a signal problem caused by the PCB. As the part for your fridge was not available a report was submitted to Samsung so they could offer you an alternative resolution and would be discussed with you in a private matter. Even though you may have found parts on the internet, these are not from our official source and cannot be guaranteed for safety or quality. As a Samsung Authorised Service Partner we cannot fit parts that are obtained elsewhere. I can assure you we repair thousands of appliances each year and have excellent feedback direct from Samsung who monitor their partners for service and quality.

Our fridge freezer broke down and an engineer came out within a few days. He quickly identified that there were two faults with the appliance and replaced the parts that day. I was very impressed with the service and the engineer was very friendly and helpful.

Called out to fix fridge and washing machine (when it rains, it pours...) , the engineer practiced good social distancing and wore a protective mask. The engineer immediately diagnosed the issue with the fridge and took a full report promptly sent directly to Samsung. He serviced the washing machine then checked over the dryer without even being prompted :) Lots of helpful maintenance tips, I would thoroughly recommend their service. Thanks.

Urgent call to fix a fridge that stopped working overnight. Despite the ongoing Covid-19 crisis, they were able to accommodate a same day request (no extra charge) and provide assurance of their working practice, to ensure adequate social distancing. Jason (the engineer) was very efficient, had the right part available, and the job was done very promptly and efficiently. Amount charged was as expected. I would recommend their service. I would use them again, although I hope nothing breaks and I don't have to!
