Cannot recommend JS Builders enough, wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a builder they can rely on. Their work is exceptional in quality and finish, and everything is left spotless. They always arrive when they say they will, quotes have been clear and very fair. They always give me options for every project and they are professional and respectful at all times. Theu keep me in the loop and answer any questions i have quickly and fully. They have done a number of jobs for me, including finishing and fixing issues I was left with from a different trader. I plan to use them again in future for my next projects and they were recommended by a colleague who also sang their praises. Thank you so much for all your hard work!

We contacted JS Builders through a recommendation from a colleague. We had had half a dozen quotes about the work we needed doing but Jeff and the boys seemed the most reliable, knowledgeable and friendly specialists who turned up. From day one they were open and helpful and guided us through the process expertly. They finished the roof and all the extra bits and we were delighted with their work and decided to commission the garden as well. JS Builders were fantastic throughout and we recommend them wholeheartedly and will definitely use them again in the future for all our renovation needs. All of them were brilliant and dedicated, honest and reliable and hardworking. We are extremely happy with everything they did for us. They clearly take pride in their work and we felt confident with everything they advised and did. Darren went above and beyond for us and ensured that the job was done properly, regardless of the demands and he proved time and again that we made the right choice by going with JS Builders. Another highlight was the fact that there was absolutely no hassle for us, despite falling sick and being stuck home for over a week. I used JS builders to undertake work to the front of the house as patio was collapsing including the wall.In addition i required works to extend the front door step for my mother who is disabled. Jeff came down last year and quoted for the patio works of which was accepted by us. No pressure or anything from them They clearly explained the works and the costs. Anyway we waited for them to carry out, of which last week they came along and carried out the works plus the additional works to the front door step. All I can say is that the job was carried out very efficiently, they discussed any issue with me before engaging any work of which I had no issue.By heck they worked exceptionally hard, cleaned up every single night before going, and again gave the necessary safety advice as my path was being dug up for the new patio. The result of their hard work and meticulous eye for perfection and detailing is excellent and the standard is Fantastic. Overall I can say without show of a doubt that I can highly recommend this building firm, family lead and friendly, this shows in the quality of work. In fact I have asked for them to come back later on in the year to carry more works to the property.

I employed JS Builders to refurbish my recently purchased house. It needed insulation, new ceilings, new walls, wall knocked down, window turned into a patio door, chimney taken down, roof repairs, electrical and plumbing work. I am so pleased I asked Darren to do the work. Darren is a builder who loves his work and puts customer satisfaction before everything. He worked tirelessly morning, noon and night, weekdays and weekends and often finishing very late in the evening to finish off what he had started. He listened to my ideas for the house, offering advice and doing his utmost to keep costs to a minimum. often changed my mind but nothing was ever too much trouble for him. Darren is very reliable, trustworthy and dependable. Darren, Jeff and Daniel have done an outstanding job. I would definitely recommend JS Builders and they will be the only builders I would use in the future.

We employed J S Builders to prepare ground and lay drainage, patio base, patio, steps and platform. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this company as the standard of workmanship was excellent and the quality of work was second to none, it was always about the quality of work with them, from being meticulous and clean, even when we had a change of plan and added a few extra jobs there was no problem, let me reiterate that I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who needs any type of building work carried out, thanks very much JS Builders for a job very well done.

Great work from a very reliable and trustworthy builders. I had my patio relayed and a wall built, The guys that did the work was always on time and polite. They kept me updated throughout the build. We asked Jeff for a quote after seeing their work on a house a few doors up in our street as we were really impressed by the standard of finish there. The quote was competitive and detailed and they completed the work to Jeff's very exacting standards on budget and everything went really smoothly, even though the weather was atrocious for much of the time they were here. They're also really easy to get on with, which made the whole process so much simpler: a pleasure instead of a pain. We really can't fault them and we're already compiling a list of jobs for next spring!

From the moment of original contact I was impressed with the way Mr. (Jeff) Smallman carried out his business. The job we asked him to do was to seal the base of our balcony/patio which happens to be the roof of the flat below. The tenant of that flat reported that there was water seeping through his ceiling. Jeff wasted no time in coming to see what was involved and immediately gave me an estimate. I was rather taken aback by the amount involved but when Jeff explained in detail all that had to be done I asked him to go ahead. Bearing in mind the nature of the job we had to wait for a spell of dry weather. Jeff kept an eye on the weather forecast and when he thought it suitable he called me two days in advance that he was going to start. Another problem we had was access to the patio, suffice to say that all the materials had to be carried up a ladder. In fairness neither Jeff or his son Darren complained about this. The weather behaved and the job was done with a great deal of thoroughness. Idon't know if there is an expression that is an opposite to 'cowboy builder' if there is it would be definitely an accurate description of J.S. Builders. All the work was fully guaranteed and they did an excellent job of clearing up the site. Thank you Jeff and Darren for all the expert and hard work. My wife and I are delighted with the job and would have no problem at all in recommending these trades men.

Jeff and Darren rebuilt a main chimney stack in appalling weather, never stopped, perfect job, also repaired interior wall for my mother-in-law, found a terrible mess that needed much more work but completed the work in just a little more time than the original estimated. Jeff and his son replaced my kitchen ceiling. He warned me that it would be a very messy job, and he made every effort to minimise the mess, and cleaned up very thoroughly afterwards. The work was completed a day ahead of schedule in spite of a few unforeseen problems. I find Jeff a very conscientious and honest builder, and would definitely use him again.

Jeff capped our wooden but sound fascia boards with PVC capping boards and replaced a soffit. Although he is not a specialist roofer he did a good job. Whilst the scaffolding was up he offered (for a few extra quid) to re-point the ridge tiles (which needed doing), replace a broken tile and do some repairs on the "roof valleys". He was friendly, accomodating (the scaffolding he arranged was left up on my request for a few weeks so I could paint the pine end wall), helpful and turned up when he said he would. I would employ him again!

JS Builders came to estimate re-build of gate pillar and ended up doing, retaining wall, rear access steps, next doors pillar coping - even turned out to help my wife in an emergency situation in the most appalling weather. Excellent standard of work. Both Jeff and Darren were polite and professional in their day to day work. Will be having them back to rebuild rear boundary wall soon!
