Jeff Turnbull removed my old Potterden Gas Boiler and replaced it with a Worcester Bosch Combi Greenstar 4000 Boiler while I was away on holiday. He has made an excellent job of it and has also repositioned the exhaust flue and has carried out some essential carpentry works in the boiler cupboard. The new boiler works extremely well and I would highly recommend him.

Shower failure, and as there is no bath in this bungalow it was essential to have the shower repaired as soon as possible.

The shower in situ was completely useless and had to be replaced. My next door neighbour Mrs Jenny Malcomber had called in Mr Turnbull when she had experienced difficulties and had to have a new boiler, and she advised me that she was extremely pleased with her new boiler and recommended Mr J Turnbull and his company. I therefore phoned Mr Turnbull who called here to inspect the shower and as it was no longer working or able to be repaired, he installed a new shower unit immediately to my entire satisfaction. The work was carried out on time, with efficiency. There was a minimum of mess and controls adequately explained. The trader returned the next day to ensure everything was functioning correctly and the make final adjustments. The trader showed complete knowledge of the boiler and its installation, and left the area of installation clean and tidy. It is now nice to be able to feel nice and warm in my own flat once again down to the work of Jeff Turnbull and his son Max.

I have no hesitation in recommending this family-run business, they came recommended to me. I have called on them twice in the last few months, resolving both a leaking toilet and a leak and pressurising problems with my boiler, both jobs had been tackled previously by separate engineers but without satisfactory results. On the two separate call-outs, Rory had all the items required on the van and was able to resolve the issue immediately. He is a knowledgeable, diligent and tidy worker and has restored my faith in the trade! They seem competitively priced, calls were responded to quickly, I was kept informed of timings, Rory was following current COVID guidelines with PPE… and the icing on the cake, they are really nice people to deal with.

My boiler stopped working from a frozen pipe, my usual plumber let me down so J Turnbull came as a recommendation from a friend, He answered straight away and i text him the details then someone was out a few hours later, job was all done and back up and running Really pleased, friendly and very efficient, reasonable price to, i will be using them from now on and would recommend to anyone

An excellent experience with this contractor. Arranged to service our Worcester Bosch boiler. Max Turnbull arrived on time, following all Covid safety measures with mask and social distancing etc. He took time to fully service and clean the boiler. The controller is connected via a Smart meter and he asked if we needed any help with the Smart meter. Although we had not had any problems with the boiler, we reported it was noisy and rattled when it started up in the mornings. Max seems to have siliconed the outer casing and the boiler is now quieter than we ever remember. We also asked about moving 2 radiators. He took photos and promised to get back to us with a quote. We look forward to using them in the future.

We had a leak in our toilet cistern. Jeff came out the same day to investigate the problem and advised that we needed a replacement toilet cistern as it was old and not working properly. His son came a few days later to repair this and also another toilet which had the same problem. All work was undertaken quickly and efficiently and everything was left in good order. Would definitely recommend this firm.
