We needed 3 ridge tiles replaced after the storms in February. JES gave us an approximate price by phone and were able to complete the work on budget and sooner than expected. Karl and Alan worked together, putting up a cover to protect the car first. They reused one tile and managed to find two others that matched well, worked quickly and tidily and were very pleasant and friendly. We are hoping they may be able to help us with another roof maintenance job later this year.

Karl did an excellent job for us. He re pointed our porch and did small repairs required to brick work in other parts of the property. He took great care to ensure the fallout from the brick dust was reduced by preparing the work area prior to starting and then tidying up thoroughly on completion. He was concerned to have our precise requirements before starting and during the work. He was courteous,cheerful and let us know if he was going to be delayed for any reason. Our neighbour was so impressed with his work that he is going to use Karl for re pointing work he needs doing. We would have no hesitation in recommending Karl.

Karl has done so much on our house, roof and garage it is too much to write about, but I can say this, every job was done with thought and care. Nothing, even though the weather was pretty awful at times, was rushed. He is such a pleasant person to have working on your property. I have no hesitation in recommending JES Building Services.

Karl was the first to respond when I had storm damage to my roof. Rang him Sunday afternoon and he visited my home that evening and started the work the following morning. He worked hard to secure the roof despite poor weather conditions. I would be delighted to recommend Karl, he would be the first person I would call for roofing work.

Karl repointed and flashed the chimney, replaced the ridge tiles, demossed the roof and flashed a bay window for me. He was very approachable when asked questions about the work, willing to explain his recommendations and courteous at all times. He asked a reasonable price for a job very well done and I would have no hesitation in using him again and recommending him to friends and family. He has already done some work for two neighbours who saw the work on my house and were impressed.

Karl is courteous, efficient and helpful. Rang him Saturday pm. re tiles fallen from roof - he came to inspect as promised on Sunday at 9 am, gave us a price, and the work was completed before midday on Tuesday and payment given! Good clean work and pleasant personality -- What more can one ask for?!

Karl, whom we found via this site, has now done two (relatively small) jobs for us. He turned up when he said he would, worked extremely hard and did an excellent job, and his prices were very reasonably. We would undoubtedly use him again

Karl attended to work on some persistent damp problems, some caused by obvious water ingress, some damp causes less clear. He seems to have cured most of the problems, though more investigation is necessary for one persistent issue. Excellent workmanship, and fair and honest assessments of what is required. He works hard too. A little surprised if he hasn't completed some quotes, though I get the impression he works his socks off, so a gentle reminder might be in order. I am using Karl again for a different job, and would recommend him.
