John Nixon has made beautifully finished bespoke kitchens and fitted furniture for over 25 years.
His personalised cabinet making service includes designing, making and installing.
Every piece is unique and hand built in his fully equipped London workshop, including an in house spraying facility.
All the cabinetry components, whether it’s the drawers, shelving, carcassing or doors are individually made by him, nothing is ‘farmed out’ but kept under one roof. That way he can keep a check on the quality control.
The choice is endless, when it comes to colours and styles. His collaborative way, along with your ideas in mind, will help to achieve your requirements so you won`t find the process overwhelming.
If it’s a kitchen you require he will help you choose the appliances, worktops etc and guide you through the myriad of details to consider.
He guarantees that you`ll get the optimum storage solutions to reflect your personal needs and also be sympathetic to the style of your home.

Kraftwork designed, built and fitted two alcove cabinets for us (bookcases and cupboards). John was great to deal with throughout - communications were excellent and the work was done in good time and exactly on budget/to the initial quote. What was especially appreciated was John's thoughtfulness and care in design and finish. We are delighted with the work and would not hesitate to recommend!

I highly recommend the talented and creative cabinet maker, John, from Kraftwork. He was efficient, precise, kept to a schedule, a good price and talked through his designs for a set of bespoke bi-folding doors for our living area and bathroom drawer system at all stages. John had to work around the fact we live in an architecturally designed 1960s listed building, our under-flooring heating system and drill into a thick concrete floor and ceiling which he did with precision and sensitivity to the existing paintwork and resin floor. The bi-folding doors are now an added sleek design feature in our living room and our classic design bathroom drawers provide much needed storage which fits in with our original 1960s bathroom. John is a great cabinet maker, extremely professional and a genuinely nice guy to work with.

John has done a storage unit for my study. He was very helpful in advising on various options. He provided the design in advance so I could see what the unit would look like externally and internally and ensure it met my needs. John promptly answered all my queries and kept me up to date with progress while the unit was being prepared. John was very considerate when he came to install the unit and cleaned after he finished. The storage unit was exactly what it looked like in the design and it is very beautiful. It was delivered on time and for the agreed price. John is also very flexible and accommodating, for example, he agreed to make some alterations to a wardrobe that otherwise I'd have had to get rid of, I don't think this is the kind of thing he normally does, but I was very grateful he agreed to do it.

John is a true craftsman. He is experienced in working in London Town houses where real skill is needed to work around uneven walls and floors and he can make cupboards look straight in the most wonky houses. His work is of the highest quality.
