Kurtis surveyed/assessed all the electrics in the house that I've just moved into. He sorted out all the wiring, fitted a new fuse box, all new light fittings and a new cooker hood. He was very thorough and went to a great deal of trouble to make sure everything was correct, fixing problems and sorting out the very poor condition of the existing electrics. After buying a house that was rather dated I invited Kurtis Lumb to call round and quote for a safety check on the electrics and removal/ replacement of various sockets and switches. There was also work to be done ready for the installation of new electric fire, shower, radiators and hot water system. Kurtis arrived on time and came across as very professional and knowledgeable, his quote was reasonable and was accepted. All work has been carried out to my full satisfaction, Kurtis has checked with me several times on exactly how certain sockets should be fitted or cables laid so it is just how I want it. New light fitting in the shower room was done without leaving a single hole in the ceiling, very impressive. I have also acted on Kurtis's recommendations and had further work done by him to upgrade the electrical system, it is great to have a workman who you can trust to tell you exactly what does and what does not need doing. On the final day I left him working in the bedroom with a dust sheet to catch all the mess as he fitted new ceiling spotlights. When I came home from work all the mess had been cleared up and the furniture put back in place, in fact every day he worked here he tidied up after himself. In my opinion Kurtis Lumb is a very professional electrician, with reasonable charges, and is highly recommended.

We required a number of small but essential jobs and when contacted a friendly, helpful voice assured me nothing was too small. A visit for an estimate was arranged, Kurtis arrived, assessed the work and emailed the estimate a few hours later. On the day he was extremely punctual, efficient and careful in every way. He is pleasant, helpful and left everything neat and tidy. In short, an ideal worker all too rare today. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending his company for any job, large or small.
