I was introduced and recommended to Columbus from a neighbour of mine when I moved into my new house 2 years ago. I am a garden enthusiast, and wanted a complete overhaul from top to bottom. Peter spent much time with me planning our approach, and I found him both patient, knowledgable and very creative as he came up with suggestions which I thought may not even be possible. Peter was recommended to us as we prepared to put my father's house on the market as over the years the garden had become overgrown and very untidy. Peter visited us at the house and we talked through what needed to be done. He was very helpful and suggested how we could make the garden look loved again. He gave us an estimate for the work and has given us further estimates for any further work we have asked him to do. He has always worked within his estimates and been on time with any schedules. He took over cutting the grass in the summer and we now have a very tidy lawn. We also needed the flowerbeds tidied, hedges cut back, removal of dead shrubs and many other jobs to make this large garden look beautiful again. Peter lets me know when he plans to visit the house, and we've always found him and his team very hardworking and easy to work with. I would definitely highly recommend Peter and his team to anyone wanting help in their garden.

The work I asked them to do was very good and very efficient. When they left it was agreed that the would return at the beginning of each month. I paid them via bacs as per their invoice but have not seen or heard from them since. Both my emails via their web site have been ignored.

Peter listened to our ideas and transformed our rough sketches into a gorgeous front garden. He cleared the tired old planting, redesigned and rebuilt the steps and wall, including a store for the bins and replanted in an attractive design. Peter works so hard, listens to what you want and makes it work, he's tidy and kept the mess to a minimum. We've had a great experience and are delighted with the results -stunning!

Having arranged a date for a reception at my house, I am pleased that at short notice Peter provided a detailed quotation and fixed price to renovate my overgrown garden. A conifer was cut down. All vegetation and bushes were cut back and the flower beds cleared. A tumbledown shed, bricks and paving, were cleared away and the patio cleaned. Turf was laid to repair the lawn and the lawn cut. Finally, the gates were covered with fencing panels to prevent any further damage from local badgers. The work was swiftly executed to an excellent standard by Peter and his team-- and this certainly impressed the guests who attended the reception! Thanks. John

Have just completed a good job on my back garden. It was overgrown so they cleared it taking out all shrubs, plants and weeds. Then resoiled it and re-turfed it replaced all the fencing and installed a new shed. Excellent work.

Columbus have just completed a full garden makeover for us, in only 5 days, this includes the levelling of the garden, new lawn and quality composite decking at a reasonable price. The workmanship is of a very high quality and level of finish is absolutely spot on.

Following my phone call, Peter came the same day and provided a competitive quote within the next couple of days. Unlike other local contractors, Peter was the only one with great ideas and really passionate about the whole project. The decking, paving, custom made oak flower beds and new lawn were finished on time and within the budget - very professional, prompt and reliable. I am very pleased with all the work they have done. We have already agreed on a regular fortnight garden maintenance. Would definitely recommend their services.
