Shopping around for boilers is never easy especially when you are looking for competent, reliable and most importantly trustworthy boiler companies. However, that is what the London boiler company is. My case was assigned to chief boiler engineer Ian Puddick. This man saved me money. He diagnosed the problem and was brilliant. I have already recommended this company to family and friends and will be replacing my boiler with them in the future. Thank you!

After we bought our new house we realised we need to replace the whole heating system. We called on LeakBusters/London Boiler Co and was reassured from the first phone call that we have nothing to worry about. The office staff and manager made this whole ordeal easy and stress free. We had great advise from the manager regarding which system to install and his explanations was spot on as we had no idea what to install. We had lovely engineers over whom went out of their way to help us. They were friendly and explained throughout the day about the new system. We decided to change a few plumbing items at the same time, this was all done with a smile. Engineers stayed later than they should have that night to clean up. We would recommend this company over and beyond, as our experience was most pleasant. We found all off the staff to be helpful and most efficient. Thank you for a great service.

If you have a leak, make sure the last person you call is Leakbusters. Terrible communication, The office staff are less than hopeless, except the director who tried to be helpful, but that came to nothing also. No follow up service, they never provided a report and didn't provide any value for the money spent. Look elsewhere, unless you want to waste your money.

We specialise in finding hidden leaks, when a customer calls us to discuss finding and locating a hidden leak (or leaks) we categorise the leak into several types e.g. Central Heating Leak, Roof Leak, Damp patches on walls/floors, swimming pool leaks and leaks on potable water i.e. your water main. Mr Hall contacted us told us that he had damp patches appearing in his property, his central heating was NOT losing pressure and that he wanted a quote to locate the problem. Our Quality Procedure - We emailed a fixed price quote to Mr Hall to carry out a survey re 'investigate damp patches'. Mr Hall then agreed in writing for us to carry out this type of specific survey and agreed to our Terms & Conditions. If Mr Hall had not agreed to the quote & our Terms/Conditions we would not have attended. We attended the property and carried out the appropriate survey, tests and examination of the affected areas. Our engineers found the leak to be on the central heating system, the tenants at the property informed us they had to add water to the combination boiler on a daily basis, as there was a leak. We gave Mr Hall a report stating that a Zect Tracer Gas Survey was required on the heating system to trace the leak/leaks. Mr Hall then asked if we could do the central heating survey at a cheaper rate, we quoted Mr Hall a cheaper rate to try and help him out. Mr Hall then asked for a full refund and blamed us for quoting on the wrong survey and then carrying out the wrong survey. We checked the original call log/recording, we informed Mr Hall that we had quoted him on the appropriate survey based on the information he provided. Mr Hall then admitted he must have forgotten to provide us with the information and that he had not read our quote properly. Mr Hall has decided to give us a poor review as is his right. We did exactly as we were asked to do by the customer, and when the customer admitted making an error we offered a discount to help the customer out. Leakbusters Limited are approved by Which Magazine and have been the leak expert advisers to many TV programmes.

The engineer, Joe, could not have been more helpful, seemed extremely knowledgeable, and took the trouble to explain everything fully, in terms we could understand.

After a week from our first call to these people we are still without hot water and central heating working. During this week we have received three visits from a plumber who after showing up late each time, I did not like his approach and he has still left our property still with a faulty boiler. In my opinion, the staff at the office were not very professional, I was not happy with the communication. The only time they cared to call us back was to make sure they had the bank details correct. I was very disappointed.

Customer called us 2 March 2015 & complained of Boiler working intermittently. The hot water worked fine, however the heating worked on & off.
The Boiler is a Potterton Suprima which as known electronic PCB Faults as noted on BBC Watchdog.
The boiler was 8 years old and not installed by us.

We attended on 3 March - we tested the boiler and electronic controls, at the time of inspection they were working properly, we did find the system did not have a by-pass and the pump was NOT wired directly into the boiler as required by the Manufacturer (called pump-over-run), this is to protect the boiler (& controls). We recommended the existing installation faults (made by another installer) were rectified as the pump over-run will stop the boiler locking out due to over-heating & there was no room thermostat.
Two radiators were not working - one is a defective Thermostatic radiator valve and the other radiator is connected by a flexible tap connector.

5 March - after speaking to the Boiler Manufacturer Potterton, they recommended we carry out an additional test, we attended again free of charge to test the Ohms (resistance) on an internal component, we carried out the test, the component was not faulty.

After rectifying the by-pass and pump over-run we tested the boiler. The job is not finished as the room thermostat needs to connected and wired in.

The customer through has hot water, however the heating needs further work.
We do not promise Guaranteed Times, we give appx 2-5pm

Brilliant, brilliant service from Leakbusters - as always. I had used Leakbusters in the past for a small job, then moved house, and quite a lot of plumbing work needed doing. Service was absolutely fantastic. I couldn't recommend them more highly - not only the plumbers who attended, but also all the staff in the head office, whose patience with the sequencing of various parts of the job was infinite and who were always kind, sympathetic and paid wonderful attention to every detail. Thank-you.

No longer as good as it used to be.

Leakbusters was a genuine five star plumbing service. But the last couple of years I've felt there has been a severe drop in quality. A job replacing bathroom equipment led to damage which took five months to fix (and not to our total satisfaction). A year later, they turned up to provide a quote to fix/replace the shower and said it would be with us in a week . Despite numerous calls (‘it's being completed’ and ‘the person handling is busy but will call back’) we still received nothing after four months

Customer asked us to repair a leak on a toilet, our engineer accidentally dropped the china cistern lid & damaged it, we replaced the Lid & did not charge anything for the complete Job.

The customer then called us back & was unhappy about the white shade on the cistern Lid, we agreed happily to supply and fit a brand new toilet, and cistern and Lid again free of charge.
The customer asked us to quote on new bathroom upgrades inc new shower etc, we declined as we do not install Bathrooms.
4 Years later in 2014, the customer has decided to complain about this incident, we contacted the customer who asked us to provide a Quote on installing new Bathroom Upgrades, again we declined & explained we don't fit bathrooms.

We did accidentally damage the Cistern Lid in 2010, the customer was happy with the complete replacement WC.
We have never charged this customer a penny for this (or original wc leak repair) and we rectified the initial problem.

It is worth noting that in 2010 and 2014 the customer was happy to request us to quote for Bathroom works, sadly this not work that we undertake.
We have asked the customer to consider removing this unfair criticism, they have agreed to remove the Post when we quote for the Bathroom. The customer has also asked us to quote on installing a new water mains pipe, we gave the customer the details of a water main specialist as it work we do not undertake.
