About
I started trading in 1988 and became a fully approved NICEIC Approved Contractor in 1992. I have carried out contracts for domestic, commercial and industrial clients including local churches in London and Surrey working sometimes alone and sometimes employing other Electricians and Labourers on small to medium size contracts. I have carried out works in houses , flats ,shops , restaurants,nightclubs, churches and factories including complete installations to breakdowns and testing of installations. I particularly specialise in general and garden lighting systems, fault finding and control systems. I also offer a 24hr call out system to assist with faults and breakdowns.
With the wealth of experience and knowledge i have gained over the years this gives me the ability to give my clients a reliable, valued added service, time and time again. Some of my clients I have been working for over 15 years and they still use me.

When my electric shower pull-cord switch was broken, I tried to find an emergency electrician but all traders I contacted were busy including Alex at London and Surrey Electrical Services. However, Alex was different than others in a good sense, of course. He was so helpful even on the phone. He actually was busy and was going to be busy for a while, but he still managed to find time to come to rescue me at the end of his work on the day for such a small job! He is friendly, efficient, professional, reliable, and reasonably priced. He doesn’t sell anything that is not absolutely necessary. He took an emergency measure so that I can continue having a shower safely. As I now need to get the rewiring done, I will ask him to do that for me. I’m not going to look for any other electrician. I can highly recommend London and Surrey Electrical Services. Alex is brilliant!

I first contacted Alex to carry out PAT tests in a rental property. I had been let down by my usual electrician, but Alex managed to fit this job around other work to make sure I met the compliance deadline. I have subsequently called on him to find and repair faults and to carry out a full electrical installation test. He found a couple of faults, and came back the next day to rectify them. His work is thorough and professional, and I am happy to recommend him.

After several let downs from 'other electricians' with the view to fixing a so-called out-of-date lighting system, Alex came to our home within 24 hours of me contacting him, got straight into proactively diagnosing the issue, communicated effectively with me in proposing solutions, and once I gave him go ahead he constructively and promptly got on with fixing it (with some "no fuss" parts procurement in between). All in all a fresh relief from the many let downs I had been getting to date. Thanks Alex!

Brought in Alexander for a mix of electrical work: connect main supply to extraction fan and emergency lights, earthen gas and water pipes and troubleshoot and fix lights and switches. Found him very competent and efficient and also approachable and a pleasure chatting with. Gave good advice in general and happy to share his experience. Wish we had brought Alexander in the first time.

I've used Alex on two occasions now. Both times he replaced panel heaters, and he also refitted a wall light when I asked him to look at it on the day. Both times he did a great job without fuss and very quickly. He also took the old panels away for me as well. I would definitely recommend Alex to friends and will use his services again. And importantly considering the market, he's trustworthy and reliable.
