Metalhouse Ltd trading as R C A and Waso 2000 was originally formed in 1971 when we sold steering locks and petrol locking caps to Companies such as Ford Motor Co and Vauxhall. These are now standard equipment on all motor vehicles.

Today we offer a supply and installation service for all types of in car entertainment from simple radios to full systems including Navigation, Internet access and smartphone integration.

We are a Thatcham Recognised Installer (Insurance Approved) and also approved by our suppliers which include Alpine, Clarion, Cobra Kenwood, Nokia, Parrot, Pioneer, Smartrack, Trafficmaster, and many others.

Being a family company we work on the basis that we do not expect our customers to be satisfied with anything that we would not be happy with in our own vehicles.

RCA was the nearest car alarm dealer who could re-programme the key fobs for our motor-home alarm/immobiliser. They quoted £30 for what should have been a 5 minute job, which was reasonable. Unfortunately the alarm didn't co-operate, and it took them 45 minutes to get the key fobs programmed, for reasons that were clearly not their fault but due to some issue with the alarm itself. Despite this they still only charged the amount agreed in advance. Some dealers would have either given up after a while and said it couldn't be done, or charged more because of the time taken. Ten out of ten for customer service.

Completely trustworthy. Very helpful & considerate. Explains the why's & wherefores. Nothing was too much trouble. Customers come first. Explained the workings at dab radio. Also set up the radio. Any problems-just call back & any problem would be sorted. Fantastic people & 1st class service. Couldn't fault -highly recommended. Thank you.
