North London Heating and Plumbing provide London and the surrounding areas of North London such as Finchley, Enfield and Islington with a genuine 24 hour emergency service on all plumbing, heating and drainage problems.

We provide a full package from general water system work to waste disposals and burst pipes. A wide range of expert services from experienced team members offering not only the services we’ve mentioned but also boiler repairs and boiler installations, as well as bathroom fitting.

NLHP’s staff have been helping the London community for over 65 years and remains to this day a family run business. All of our engineers are highly trained, Gas Safe registered and qualified to the highest of standard.

With our vast experience, this enables us to deal with the most complicated of problems efficiently and as we have a large stock of plumbing and heating materials, the problem can usually be resolved within the first visit.

Poor quality, expensive and took too long

I engaged this company to do a boiler replace and bathroom refit recently. The chap who did the boiler work was excellent and first-class, but came from a separate company and was sub-contracted. However, the guys who did the rest of the work went well over time, over budget and did not do some of the work specified as well as doing other work incorrectly. I had to call then them back because the waste in the sink was faulty and they came and fitted and completely different type of waste, which now leaks. Nearly £11K and Barney, the man in charge never once visited to inspect the job and has offered no apology. I wouldn't use this company again.

I would like firstly to comment on the fact that our engineer who fitted the boiler for Mr May was not sub-contracted from another company and worked directly for North London Heating and Plumbing. Secondly I would like to comment on the fact that the works on the bathroom although did take 3 days longer than was anticipated due to our fitters doing extra works for Mr May.However his comments on our work being poor quality is simply not true and if he had a issue we would have done our utmost to please him as with any of our other customers ,as we pride ourselves on the quality of work that is carried out by company.The waste fitting that was mentioned was a manufacturers fault and we decided to fit a different part as we did not want the the same issue to arise again. Concerning the price Mr May had over 2 months from engaging our company to carry out a quote to commencing the works to deliberate the price so i feel this is an unfair comment . Overall i don,t like unhappy customers and nearly all of our other customers leave us 5 star reviews but i guess you cant please everyone !!!! Barnaby Griffiths

We had Barney and the team replace and relocate a boiler, taking out and old back boiler and replacing it with a new combi boiler in a different location. At the same time we also had them knock out, design, and fit a new bathroom. We wanted a company who could manage and coordinate the job in its entirety and they did just that, and at a competitive price. We were particularly impressed with the care that the team took with our house, tiding up regularly and protecting our floors and walls etc. they were also great with their communications and kept us up to date with the planned schedule and any unexpected deviations from it as situations required. We are very happy with the end result and the team always went out of their way to make sure that the job was done properly; in particular with regards to making good the areas where flooring and pipe work had to be taken up. The installation of a completely new bathroom was completed to a very high professional standard. The guys kept me updated throughout the job and were friendly and courteous. The level of workmanship was first class, especially given the scale of the job - a bathroom that was in a real state. Definitely recommended.

Joe came to the house on time to start the work. When there was disagreement and misunderstanding Joe patiently went through with me for the alternative choices. All work finished on time. The disagreement was that initially we think the choice of boiler was unsuitable for the size of the house.
