Hi, I'm Lee, owner and lead engineer of Northumbria Gas Limited. I have been in the industry for over 16 years and founded Northumbria Gas in 2015. We are based in the heart of the North East, several miles from Newcastle upon Tyne and we cover most of the region, ranging from Hexham to Sunderland; Alnwick to Durham; and everywhere in between.

Northumbria Gas specialises in boiler installations, servicing and repairs. We work on Natural Gas, LPG, Oil and Solid Fuel boilers and appliances. We have been a Worcester Accredited Installer for over 5 years and are very familier with their products. Due to their quality and reliability, they now account for over 95% of our new boiler and heating system installations.

At Northumbria Gas we pride ourselves in offering a gold standard and professional service whilst maintaining the personal touch with all our customers to ensure they are offered the most appropriate advice, whether this is a simple repair or a complex 'full heating system' overhaul.

Northumbria Gas fitted a new central heating boiler when ours broke down and our regular company was going to take almost a month to visit. The quote for the work was provided within a couple of hours and the work completed over two days a fortnight later. They were prompt, pleasant, professional, efficient and well organised, kept us informed at each stage, and explained what was to happen. Lee is passionate about what he does, but a special mention to Jack and Chris.

Northumbria Gas Ltd was booked to carry out the annual service to our combi boiler on 22/04/2022, which they had installed 12 months earlier. Danial Turner, the engineer, came, who was also part of the team at the time if installation, carry out the service. Danial is a very pleasant and polite lad, who carried out a thorough and professional service to the boiler. He also took the time to reset our thermostat and explain to me how to do it, if required in the future. I would have no hesitation in recommending Northumbria Gas Ltd as all the work they have done for me over the last 2 years, has always been spot on.

Existing plumber didn’t respond to my request for a boiler service. Found Northumbria Gas. They provided a welcome response from Jack who (after examining the workload) provided time and dates for me to consider. Having arranged an appointment, communication and reminder of time and date by text message was very appreciated. Daniel, the engineer was personable and very professional. Definitely an ongoing relationship between myself and this Company that I feel can be totally relied upon.

Annual boiler service performed quickly and efficiently, service documentation provided showing all checks carried out and state of system. Very pleasant engineer who tidied up, leaving no mess. Communication was excellent, commencing with advice that service was due and on the day giving live arrival time. Very reasonable charge for the service call.

Annual boiler service. Got a reminder from Northumbria Gas and they fitted in around my availability. Daniel arrived on time and carried out a comprehensive service. Always a pleasure to deal with Daniel (and Lee on other occasions). Most professional but also so friendly. Great value also. No reason for looking anywhere else.

We have a Gazco fire in the lounge which would not ignite. Contacted Northumbria Gas as they were local but not used before. Very impressed with their software for booking an appointment, an approximate cost and keeping us informed right up to their visit. Arrived on time and Daniel was professional, pleasant and friendly throughout the work. He quickly diagnosed the problem and the painstakingly went through all the components to resolve it, which he did. Fire now working perfectly. Had follow up texts and e mails to check all still working. A breath of fresh air. Will absolutely use them again in the future and no hesitation in recommending them.
