After hearing some really bad news about our boiler from another service provider, Paul came round on the day I called and confirmed that a new boiler was required. He gave us a really competitive quote for a Vaillant boiler, which was significantly cheaper than a quote for the same boiler from a large national company. He came round on the day promised, fitted it quickly and left everything clean and tidy. No hesitation in recommending him.

Our two ancient and inefficient central heating and hot water boilers had been condemned as unsafe. We had a look at the Which website for plumbers in our area and chose Paul. Paul came, had a look round and quoted for the work. We needed both systems bringing up to date and he fitted two Vailant boilers for us together with what seemed like miles of pipes, mended a leak and replaced valves on 30 radiators. It was quite a task for him as our house is old, on three floors and some of the previous plumbing work was not to a high standard. Some of the work entailed him running from cellar to attic which is no mean feat in the recent hot weather. We work from home so minimal disruption was very important. Paul was very efficient and kept us informed if he came across any problems. When he had finished installing the boilers he explained how the timers, etc worked so that we knew how to program them. We now have an up to date, reliable system and no longer have hot water coming out of the cold tap! We would thoroughly recommend Paul without any hesitation, his work is of a very high standard and and he is tidy, which is just as important. We will be seeing Paul again soon as he is coming back to work on a bathroom and replace a toilet for us.

Having recently move to Harrogate, and in need of a more efficient boiler, we checked out Which Trusted Traders and out of 3 competitive quotes we chose Paul not just on price but the whole approach he had to doing the necessary work and taking all our wishes into account. Paul fitted a new Vaillant boiler to replace an old inefficient open vented system. This meant taking out a lot of pipework including 2 waters tanks from the loft and a hot water tank. He worked extremely hard and completed the work in 3 days, ahead of schedule. We would not hesitate in highly recommending him and will be using him for any future plumbing needs we may have.

Our central heating boiler was originally installed in the loft. For two winters we had frozen pipes and on one occasion we had no heating or hot water from Christmas to New Year's, as due to the holiday season, we were unable to obtain a heating engineer. A relative recommended Paul who came immediately. We have been using his services ever since. To prevent the pipes from freezing again, we asked Paul if he could re-site the boiler to the kitchen, two floors below. This was a mammoth task, as the kitchen is in an extension with a steel lintel, and the new gas and water pipes had to be installed under the kitchen floor, and behind units, and the old pipes capped off and removed. Paul started work on 28 August and completed the work by early afternoon of 30 August. It was very clever how he overcame the difficulty of the job! He is a very conscientious and skilled workman, with an amiable and friendly personality. We will highly recommend Paul.
