English Carpentry and Property Maintenance is a small business offering high quality carpentry and property repairs and maintenance solutions, throughout Amersham, Buckinghamshire and the North West area.
With City and Guilds qualifications and over 40 years experience in the carpentry trade, English Carpentry are renowned for providing a friendly and reliable service, in addition to a high standard of workmanship and promise to cut ‘mitres’ and not corners.
English Carpentry and Maintenance is DBS registered (clear to work in schools, youth centres and healthcare etc).

Have used Paul English a couple of time during the last year, firstly for internal doors replacement and secondly for the installation of a side gate. On each occasion Paul produced good quality work to a high standard and to specifications/requirements. Paul took time out before commencing work to re-confirm requirements to ensure there were no problems going forward. For the internal doors replacement Paul liaised effectively with the flooring company to ensure no problems arose during the work.

Paul built a cupboard under the stairs and boxed in our fireplace flue. The cupboard was not a straightforward job with many non-standard angles and corners. Paul discussed the options clearly and his experience was very clear and the result very satisfying. We highly recommend Paul.

Paul repaired and replaced damaged wood to one of the supporting beams on our conservatory which was leaking whenever it rained. He removed all rotting, damp hardwood and replaced with new wood creating a join that was virtually impossible to see. Remarkable workmanship considering the state of the damage.

Paul made good our porch where the wood was starting to rot. He removed all the rotten wood and replaced with a resin, he was on time, on budget and worked without inconveniencing us in any way. When he finished the porch was as good as new - a really good job
